We’ve been loyal customers for years, but after this experience, we are completely disgusted.

Six people in our group became violently ill after eating the steak, beef, and chicken on 8/3. Within hours, we were all experiencing severe food poisoning symptoms — vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach cramps. Some of us are now seeking medical treatment due to worsening symptoms.

Even worse? We told the server and manager during the meal that something was wrong. The food didn’t look or taste right. The server admitted it looked off, and the manager agreed it wasn’t up to standard. He offered to “refire” the fajitas — not fully remake them — but by then we had already waited nearly 40 minutes, our drinks were empty, and we were starving. So we ate it. And we’re seriously regretting it.

We also learned the restaurant had recently merged with another, was completely out of all seafood and several menu items, had brand new kitchen staff, and was serving smaller portions due to a corporate policy. Clearly, the kitchen is disorganized and overwhelmed — and this food safety issue proves it.

We called the next day to report what happened and were told a manager would call us back by 3:30 PM. They never did. We called several more times, along with our friends— no answer to any of us. I then contacted corporate on 8/5, and they said all they could do was open a case and that I’d have to wait 2–3 business days. Even worse? They told me they have no way to contact the location directly. That’s outrageous.

Today (8/5), I finally spoke with a manager, and her response was absolutely unacceptable. She told me they don’t issue refunds for food poisoning and that it would have to go through risk management. She showed zero empathy and made no effort to take accountability. I had to demand an incident report be filed and emailed to me. She didn’t even ask for the names of the other sick guests in our party — I had to ask her to follow up with them. This is not just horrible customer service — it’s negligence.

Six people got sick. No one followed up. No one took responsibility. And no one seems to care.

This should have triggered an immediate kitchen inspection and food safety review. Instead, we got no apology, no urgency, and no accountability. As of now, there’s STILL been no confirmation that the food has been investigated, and guests could still be eating something that made us violently ill.

Because of the seriousness of this incident, members of our party have reported it to the health department, and I will continue to take further action if needed. This is no longer about a refund — this is about public health.

If this is how Hard Rock Cafe handles foodborne illness, then they don’t deserve...

It just me but this place has change alot from the time i started going there 4 years ago. The big change came when they change to the UNITY stuff is truly not alot winning going on at this place compair to other casino that offer so much. I was there 3 days ago and in the high roller room to get service was a nightmare. I ask a manager, slot mechanic and 2 red shirt person on where is the waitress. All the can say is she or he is coming but only until he came from downstairs after 1½ did the gentleman came. Very nice service considering that i was not the only waiting for hours for a drink. It was not busy at all and the time was 2am which i spent the whole night at the casino. I check all the rooms out even the vip room on drapper area. Which a woman there toll me that she has been there six hours without one drink and not seen a waitress the whole time. I was like yeap i know the feeling. Not to make matters worst. Hired more waitress guys then the red shirt people that dont do anything but walk around waiting for there tips. Alot slot machine there have multiple play buttons there that dont work properly. I think if the slot machine is not working that they should put the slot machine out of service completely. We are playing for real money and loosing alot of it not to be accommodating for great service plus slot machine that dont work properly not calibrated, buttons not working but the slot is still on. I have press the service button myself to see the red shirt person just come by and turn it off without checking the machine to see if something is wrong with it. The light is on for a reason not just to turn off i can understand that by mistake it get press but it only thats second to do a overview scan on the slot machine. Also for the icing on the cake forget complaining about anything in the players club . Unless you are a special xcard player you will not get no emphatic from the manager in the players club. I am an icon player for the last 3 years to my surprise i dont get anything from rhis hardrock i used to but not anymore. No free play no comp rooms on 3 years no boutique gifts. I used to get it and ive been to the players club to tried to fix this issue like 20 times. Ive call over the phone to see if anyone can help me but nothing. So i stop trying and i keep coming less to this place. I wish i can give this place a better rating ecause i love the atmosphere and the thrills of winning. It just not been fun for me for a long time. Jackpots are getting smaller by the day and alot less win. On top of the bad service from several managers on the facilitie. I will not go into detail of the conversation one try to tell about my free play on the casino. It was a joke of an excuse...

Casino employees are beautiful and pit boss es would take time explain how the game works. My son who just go to Hard rock Casino to relax.who he treat everyone with respect and very polite. There was a situation, it was 3:00 in the morning March 20th and he decided to have Chinese rice with chicken and he asked a person who's at the concierge of the restaurant thinking he worked there but the person named John was a security guard just hanging by the restaurants seating table. My son asked him what he recommends. My son said are you like to put an order but security says you have to make a line my son complied and went to make a line when his time was up he was waiting nobody around is entertained looking behind him how they're playing card behind the Chinese restaurant. A supervisor lady who runs a Chinese restaurant Spanish lady said to my son he had to make a line when she told her he was in line. The supervisor John was at the column across the restaurant so my son walked over and asked him hey can you tell the lady I was in line and he told my son why I didn't see you in line. Italian tours with a black suit went up to John supervised to tell him that my son was in line and told him that he wasn't. So my son asked the supervisor John very nicely hey I was online and he proceeded to ask him for his driver license to have him trespassed all he had to make a line again. My son being very respectful said okay I'll make the line but felt very violated like he got his ass kicked by a security guard for the supervisor above his pay grade My son is a guest have he treated my son like this he probably treated other guests in the casino worse. My advice if you're looking into this very carefully with the security cameras my son was wearing a blue white Little flower long sleeve shirt and he has two long hairs braided hair with a blue bandana it happened between 3 and 3:30 you can see he was online. A supervisor John with a tattoo in his hand he was wrong he needs to apologize and needs to be very careful how he treats people because he's going to come across somebody that he's going to judge him for what he looked and look like and they're going to be somebody else maybe the owner's family. Seminole police told me to make a complaint. But I'll leave at the hands of Jesus Christ and God and this review. I give hard Rock Cafe I'm sorry for all the good people that lost out on a five-star for this one bad rotten apple I get one star. How can you eat somewhere when you were treated so badly. Never judge a person how they look or walk because you never know who they are or who their family are. Retreat everybody the same...
