THIS IS ABOUT "LIVE NATION" COMPANY July was my first every concert experience, and thanks to Live Nation, the worst concert experience. The amount of disrespect, lack of humanity, dismissal for any questions I had, along with massive disorganization was the lowest form of company performance. Every time I tried to ask an employee for help or clarification, was met with an immediate combative attitude, as if they are constantly ready to argue with guests. I work with schizophrenic, Intellectually disabled, and special needs people for a living. If we have the forward training of deescalation, so should these workers, who deal with many different types of adults who all are having thier own battles. Any question I had as a first time goer was met with "why are you arguing ", "you just don't like my answers so walk away." There's this thing called "common decency " that everyone seemed to lack. I, as an adult, have severe claustrophobia and anxiety, which unfortunately and embarrassingly can cause me to pass-out. When my bag with medication and phone was not allowed in , I made the mistake of asking "is there a way to get the bag approved by security? ". Why did I ask this question? Because a worker of Live Nation told me to ask when I got to the main entrance. After I asked this question, the staff immediately decided I was trying to be difficult and was just another entitled person who didn't like being told "no". The staff began to not let me speak, turn their back to me, and spoke to me in a belittling way as if my question was so disrespectful and invalid. I did not care about this thrift store purse, I was concerned about why others could bring large bags while mine was denied, and if there was something I could do, an extra fee I could pay, as I have never in my 32 years of life, attended a concert and do not know the rules. My friend is the one who bought the tickets and even picked out my purse for me since she attends concerts yearly. I was concerned of dropping my belongings everywhere without my bag (and lack of pockets). But if not , then oh well. I did not think clarifying questions were so unholy. I finally met a kind concert goer who explained large bags were allowed if they were see-through. A simple answer, all I needed and BOOM I would have understood and walked away. But no, I was met with the worst customer service I've ever experienced , and I've been to the DMV for license renewal . I assume many workers got tired of enforcing the bag size rule by the end of the line, as many people were being let in with big non see-through bags, but I guess thats just a result of being overwhelmed and "done" with "arguing" with hundreds of customers. Live Nation is known for its awful reviews, and my experience shows all the negatives were well founded. Not to mention the amount of Marijuana , vapes, and "cigarettes " I saw people smoking during the concert, which shows not only are the staff rude, but they didn't search thoroughly, and I can tell the kids sitting infront of me were unhappy with all the smoke and smells. Thank you for the wonderful first experience (and since they seem to lack basic human empathy, that last line was pure sarcasm ) I pray to my Lord and savior that this stadium does not work with Live Nation again. If my credibility is called into question, I only wrote two other reviews in my life, NONE were like this. You know it's bad when someone who minds there own buisness and basically lives as a hermit, feels the need to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBro KoRn has some of the best fans out there. Just relax. Dont be scared to be social. I just went to the Tampa show alone. The beginning of the ahow was rough as far as my plans falling thru and everything going wrong. But as soon as i got there it was raining and i had pit tickets but i wasnt ready to enjoi the show during spiritbox and gojira. I deff enjoyed the background music but i was drinking beers. Drinking waters. And drinking more beers. (Also im a super KoRn fan and bought 600 dollars worth of merch. I had no where to put the merch but i met this really great livenation concession worker named Ken who helped me out. He was GREAT) so once gojira was done i was deff a lil lit but also hydrated and ready. Before i went down to the pit i met this guy with a VIP pass and was telling him how big of a fan i am(had my KoRn adidas suit on lol) and i started chatting with him abt how the VIP was and if i could cash app him for his pass since the one i bought resell couldnt be fulfilled. He was like ānah man i dont want to sell itā he than proceeded to take it off his neck and give it to me. I offered over and over to cash app him and he refused each time and told me just have fun. So heck i went to the vip bar and asked was it closed? A livenation employee told me it might be but ill let you through and just ask, i did so. They were indeed wrapping up but they were KIND ENOUGH to allow me to record the VIP set up. I was beside myself in that alone. Thats all i wanted. (Aside from seeing if the adidas merch in October 2024 could be bought early) so man i was ready for the pit for SURE now! I went down a lil early after using the bathroom before hand to make sure nothing wpukd interrupt my show. As soon as i got down there everyone else was leaving gonira to use bathrooms when inwas coming back since i went rught before they ended. I was like 3 lines of people from the stage. Got there right before the instrument set up. Brother the rest from here is short and sweet. I DANCED AND MOSHED AND DANCED!!!! KoRn will NEVER disappoint live i guarantee you that. The setlist was AMAZING! The band was AMAZING as always!! I met some really cool fans who i was live reacting with per song if u will. Alot of surprises. Time of my life and im trying so hard to make it to LA to do it again October 5th. Your gonna have a great time. Dont be intimidated by the looks of people lol its always love at KoRn shows. Drink water and dance
I want to personally thank Ken at the closest concession to the stage. He made my night what it was . I met alot of employees that night but that man gets it. He needs to be management if he is not already. I will Deff be looking for him next time. I spent money because of him. I will be contacting his manager this week to recommend he works...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis venue is the absolutely worst venue iāve ever been to in my life. The parking situation was HORRIBLE there was no one directing traffic there was an entire separate line not being used or directed to so it was backed up all the way onto the highway. it took so long to get through and get parked and then when we finally (extremely late) got to the venue doors they told us we couldnāt go in because of our shoes or our bag (it was a mini loungefly) so we had to take our shoes off and bags in the car to get inside where we were already 2/3 of the way through the Sleeping with sirens set. As we were walking around i saw many people with my EXACT same bag inside the venue as well so i felt very targeted. We couldnāt find our seats so we asked workers and they kept giving us wrong information and told us to sit in the wrong seats which got us yelled at so we had to walk around missing the rest of the sleeping with sirens set to find our correct seats. when we finally got to the correct seats we were able to see pierce the veil and their set was amazing but during the set a man next to us and our friend who was with us (who were both a person of color) and paid $300 for his seat was being harassed by security to show his seat ticket to prove that his seat was his seat and the security got in his face. Which is crazy to be treated this way after paying $300 for a seat and missing 3/4 of the sets due to venue negligence and not even being able to wear our SHOES inside the venue?? I will absolutely see pierce the veil again but NEVER at the tampa midflorida credit union amphitheater again, i donāt care who the band is id rather watch shitty clip online, it was pathetic. Then when we were leaving the amphitheater the show ended at 11 and we did not leave our PARKING SPOT until after midnight let alone actually leaving the amphitheater. This was the worst concert ever experience iāve ever had and ive been puked on, knocked down, concussed, iāve been rained out, iāve had some bad experiences but this was 0/10 the worst iāll never even...
