I loved Marcos when I used to live near the military base. This location is horrendous, I lived in this area for the last 5 months so here’s my review of the place.
01: placed order, quickly saw the tracker move through to on their way. Hour later, I call the store to check the status because it says delivered when I don’t have not received it. I think the guys name was Sal at the time. 30 min later I called to find out what’s going on, guy said his driver just left. This was not the first time. Once I received the pizza, my XL was cut into 16 mini slices. I’m thinking in my head shouldn’t it be 8 to 12 slices. So I avoid ordering from Fowler location and went to the Bruce B Downs(this location is the best).
Feb: ordered from BBDowns. Great service, great everything from ordering to delivery.
March:ordered from BBDowns they said they can’t order to my area which is on BBDowns so I was shuffled back to Fowler location which I was avoiding.
April: Decide to try the Fowler location again: explained to the front desk to please not slice up the pizza in mini slices, great service, they struggle with finding my apartment.
Today: This was the final straw, I placed my order at 5:41 eta was 6:15. 6:15 rolls by, I’m like that’s weird maybe they have a lot going on let me give them more time. 6:30 rolls by, I decide to call the store and spoke to Sanvi who said that he was the manager. I asked him, “hey what’s the status because on my end it’s showing that the pizza has been delivered, but I don’t have any pies in my hand. He said that they had no driver so Door dash was used to deliver the pizzas. I asked him, “well how long ago did they pick up the order?” He said “about 15 to 30 minutes ago” and then I asked about the status being changed and is he controlling that because I have yet to receive my pizza. He said, “he has nothing to do with it, but will call the door dash drivers and find out where they are, but if they don’t deliver within the next 15 min that he will issue a refund. I agreed and waited the next 20 mins, I received a phone call from the door dashers asking what apartment number did I live in, I gave him the number, he hangs up. I thinking this is weird, so I called back and women picks up this time so I explained that I’ve been waiting over an hour to receive my pizza. I then asked how long you guys have been wandering around out here she said 30 to 40 min. I then said, “30 to 40 min, ma’am please return the pizza back to the store because I have no idea what could have been done to my pizza in that time frame and that I will be calling the store to let them know that you guys are on yall way. So I called the store back, spoke to the manager and told him everything and to please issue the refund, he says it’s okay we can make a new order & give an additional pizza for the situation that has transpired. I complied and said okay I will wait. So the door dash driver calls me back again to ask if I will give them a bad review because he thought he was calling the store but ended up calling me, and I told him I have nothing to do with that. He then explains that there was no apartment number on the receipt so they were wandering around aimlessly sitting the pizza down by the leasing office. I said you’re not getting a bad review from me because you were doing your job. I told them to take the pizza back to the store to have them sort this out. At 7:49, I finally received my pizzas from their original store delivery guy minus the extra pizza and sauces I ordered, mind you I placed my order at 5:41. One of the pizzas was not cut. I’ve never had such a hard time ordering delivery from any pizza place, but this location here at Fowler is subpar. This is last time I will order here. Corporate needs to investigate what’s going on because it doesn’t make sense for the wait times of more than an...
Read moreWhere do I begin?? This is the absolute worst location to ever visit due to the customer service. Extremely unprofessional manager who was a young African American male. Not sure how he ended up in a managerial position, but it is beyond me. I order a pizza over the phone with the most disrespectful employee. Turned out to be the manager and when I arrived to pick up my pizza, it was made wrong. NO apology or any type of care but huffing and puffing with an offer to remake. The manager was making the pizza bare hands, I requested he put on gloves and he blew up on me about having some kind of culinary degree and started yelling to where I felt unsafe and called the cops. He proceeded to lock the door of the store and kick me out. Could have easily been resolved with my request of gloves and a nicer attitude. Instead very arrogant, disrespectful, and rude. Seems like he’s been in trouble many times with the law and knew exactly the limit he could go without any reprimandment. I demand a franchise owner, or a separate supervisor above this person to contact me. Extremely disappointed as I have been a customer here for many years. No longer will I ever visit this location due to these employees. Especially the ones who witnessed this horrific behavior and turned a blind eye because of how afraid they were from this manager. On top of this, no where to reach corporate, leave feedback, or contact anyone apparently because it redirects you on the page to order rather than...
Read moreI'm sad to say, eleven months later, that I have to lower my review. It was previously 5/5. Now, I would give it zero stars if possible.
The ordering website UI/UX is so bad as to be actively offensive, and has removed order ETA and order tracking.
And then, because I didn't have an ETA from the website, I called the location and asked for one. The person answering the phone said, "It's out for delivery right now" - curious how she knew that, considering she never asked for my name or order number, and I wasn't calling from the same phone number. Perhaps she's a psychic.
An hour later, my pizza did arrive - cold and poorly made. Of course, all of the sauces and topping were wrong but that's just par for the course - but more importantly my pizza has a three inch ring of crush. Three inches of crust before arriving at any sauce or cheese. That's an awful lot of crust. It looks like they made a medium pizza on the shell of a large pizza.
When I called the store to complain, I was redirected to the website... And the website does not allow you to submit feedback. Or sure there's a button to "Contact Us" but when you click it, it just takes you right back to the ordering page.
And thus, my only recourse is a Google review and credit card...
