Ernie’s Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Temple

Would have been 5 stars if the chicken was actually properly cooked. Never in my life have I picked up fried chicken that was cooked in the fryer that had blood on the inside. Chicken was definitely raw in some spots and rubbery texture. Sides were excellent. This place has a history of up charging the customer without telling them. Last time we ordered the 2 piece and she pretended to not understand me and gave us 3 piece meals. This time I paid for a 2 piece mixed and she charged me for 2 piece white when it was a mixed piece of a thigh and a breast for each plate. Also there is no disclaimer that they will charge you a convenience fee of 3% not until you're surprised as the receipt is printing out. Not sure that we will be back. Very sad because the chicken tasted very good last time when it was properly cooked. I guess Temple is cursed and will never have a good chicken...

They advertise open went to door and it was open went to grab my granddaughter came back but had a like 5yr old lock the door as soon as you walk up rude as heck you ask me . Saturday says til 6pm came before 3 pm... then went to convince store came out door was open then a guy came out whom wasn't in there before . Then asked him are they open he all oh um asked them said no then had child lock door . Change your times or don't be on Google saying...
