Chubby's Deli — Restaurant in Tennessee

When you think that this place will be nothing special and be certainly skeptical when someone tells you "lets have a burger from inside a gas station" Just smack yourself in the face and get ready for the best burger of your life! Personally I had a double jalepeno and pepperjack burger. It was ugly as hell when it showed up in front of me (if you are a burger connoisseur you know this is a good thing) Melty cheese flowing from the top, juices running down to the wax paper of the basket and just packed with toppings but not in a crazy overboard amount. The bun was extra toasted but still soft on top and through. I knew this was going to be good. Then I took my first bite of this thing and POW!! It was a delicate symphony of burger, jalapeno, bun, lettuce, grilled onion. This place, in a matter of 3 seconds after that first bite earned my business for life, (or as long as they exist). I instantly craved more and more and more. My tastebuds are tingling as I remember this thing. I remember finishing it off and thinking, "oh god im full but I need to eat another one it was too good to not have more." We pulled up to this place and it was a gas station on one side and restaurant on the other and considered going elsewhere and im so happy we didn't, you may think like me that a hamburger is a hamburger and tater tots are just tater tots but after eating here my opinion has changed , chubbys has the BEST hamburger I've ever tasted in my life and the tater tots are cooked perfectly and seasoned just right im not sure how you can stand out as much as they do with a hamburger and tots but I don't think you can find a better burger anywhere and the people working there are great, one of the ladies working there asked my 3yo how he liked his hotdog and in toddler fashion he said it had too much ketchup,and he only wanted cheese lol so she made him another one "to go" with sandwich cheese wrapped around it as he requested ,for free lol. This establishment baffles me with its continued operation. The tables are on the verge of collapse, the benches are simply torturous, and even the soda is flat. The food reached an unparalleled level of repulsiveness—we couldn't stomach more than a single bite. Upon checkout, when I expressed my honest opinion to the waitress, her response was shockingly dismissive. She laughed off our dissatisfaction, remarking sarcastically that the food is so terrible, it's her go-to choice. Clearly, our abandoned plates should have conveyed the severity of our disappointment.

To add insult to injury, we paid for this abysmal experience and promptly left. The ambiance is dismal, the service is abominable, and the food is a culinary disaster. Consider yourself warned: your money and time are better...
