Hardee’s — Restaurant in Tennessee

The old lady at the front counter with glasses & a tight hair bun was rude to me while taking my order. I heard one of the other ladies call her "Jeanie".

I know that she was NOT just having a bad day because after she took my order, she turned her back towards me & whispered something to the younger lady making sandwiches causing them both to laugh, and she was a little less abrupt with the next customer (right after me).

While I was sitting in the dining area eating my food that I purchased here, she & her co-workers behind the counter were periodically cutting up & laughing.

The purchase that I made as a customer helps to pay her salary, but with her rudeness she is causing customers to not want to return. I do not live over here, but was stopping by as I visited a friend in the area. Next time, I will keep driving & will not be back to this restaurant. I can spend my money at a place that actually treats customers nice.

Someone who is rude to people should not be interacting with customers. She needs to be working the grill instead (if you keep her on), where she can not interact with customers & run them off.

Update Nov 30th 2024: We eat here several times a week but the food has been steadily going down hill. The last 4 or 5 times I've gotten a hamburger from here it tasted old and dry like it's been sitting out for awhile. Also some of the older ladies that work here seem to have a bad attitude and are not at all friendly to the customers or the other employees. I'd like to see this Hardee's do good since it is the closest resturant to my home, but at the rate that they are going, they are bound to loose most of their customers if they keep this up. I don't understand why most fast food places can't operate like chick-fil-a who always has good food and courteous employees. Hardee's need to take note. Besides, Hardee's is getting more and more expensive so the quality should be better not worse. I guess we will have to find a new place to eat. The company that owns this Hardees does not care how this store operates because there isn't another place for miles and they know McDonalds across the street is hard to get to in the mornings. In other words they know they wont lose business.

So go here knowing your order will be wrong. The people might be nice, they might not and you will wait 3 times longer than anywhere else. This morning was 14 minutes and I was 5 cars back when i pulled up. 3 cats got 1 drink and small bag handed to them. Then when I got to the window the woman decided to prepare the next 3 cars worth of food and drinks. So I sat at the window for 4 minutes with my food in a bag and me looking at it.

If you are going into Cleveland from Polk, pass this place up and go to Calfees gas station. Fresh biscuits, many sandwiches, biscuits & gravy, pork tenderloin, bacon and eggs and ALWAYS fast service and correct order. I have spent my last dollar at this Hardees with many bad experiences...
