My Husband and I decided to eat here today for our sunday dinner. I decided to try the liver and onions and it was horrible, it had no season of any kind on it at all! It was way over cooked, it was already super thin sliced and the onions were burnt! I just put salt and hot sauce on it and called it a day. I also order seasoned green beans, needless to say they were only steamed in water and delivered to Me by the cook, I sent them back by the waitress and told her I didn't want them because they wasnt seasoned as stated on the menu. She said that she could get them seasoned for Me but I told her No because if He knew from the beginning that they were suppose to be seasoned than he should have did it the first time. My Husband had the philly steak and cheese omelet, He said it was tasteless, no season on it either. The waitress was ok, she took a smoke break in the middle of waiting for us and I really dont like cigarette smoke at all let alone my server smoking in the middle of waiting on us. She also seemed a bit confused and she walked by the table several times without saying anything, another waitress paid more attention to us, she even refilled our drinks. Ending, the waiter asked me how was the liver and I told her horrible and she just said sorry about that. I wasnt please at all, at that point I wish we would have chose some where else to eat a good sunday meal as we expected. A real waist of our money, We will not...
Read moreWhen you walk into a truck stop and the restaurant has two people in it, you should leave. We should know better. We normally love and iron skillet but this place was not great.
To start with, the waitresses took forever and there was only two other people there who already had their food by the time we sat down. We waited forever for a menu and waited even longer for them to come and take an order. Either this be figure there was no point saying anything about the food.
Do not order the Philly cheese steak here. They do not know how to make one.
Meet was nice, cheese good. . 1/2 of my sandwich had decent meat. I had one slice of mushroom, I could not find any onion, and two little slices of green pepper, the size of a pinky fingernail, The other half of my sandwich had next to no meat one slice of mushroom, about four small pieces of green pepper, a couple small squares of onion. You should have mushroom, onion and pepper cheese and meat in every bite, that's why you do the peppers and onions in long strips.
I made had the stir fry which you said overall was good, but it just tasted like they poured the teriyaki sauce on top before they served it to him and stirred it, wasn't cooked in in any way to the meat and vegetables, So you might as well have just been dipping them in the sauce,
We use to love the iron skillet , intentionally look for one to stop at to eat. Don't think we will be...
Read moreI walked in around 8:05 pm past front counter. There was a seat there but wanted a booth so I went n sat in the back area. There were a couple customers that were already served. An elderly waitress with white hair brought me a menu and said she would be back. She said she had other customers before me. Ok. She walked past me a half dozen times not even taking a drink order but taking care of other customers that had food with refills. I waited 30 mins n finally asked her when she was gonna get to me when once again she was taking care of a customer who already had food n drinks. She said im busy sir. I said I was waiting 30 mins. She then got belligerent n said you've been waiting 15 minutes. I think atleast she could've gotten me a drink. But I noticed another driver got up n left her section also because of the waitless waitress. As I was walking out I noticed the seat I first saw walking in that was empty had a customer with food. Hmm odd. Maybe I should've grabbed that seat. Different waitress with better time management n ability to help customers. I won't be back. I'll eat across the street a...
