My family and I stopped for dinner at the Covington, TN Zaxby's tonight, and I love Zaxby's, but this experience was awful. We went through the drive thru and when it was our turn at the window, a lady who I am assuming was the manager was asking about what we ordered, they didn't know, we explained to them what we ordered and they have us our drinks and asked us to pull around, they'd bring it out shortly. We aren't certain what happened but we believe they gave the vehicle in front of us our order, again not certain. So we pulled around to wait. We sat and waited 20 minutes and still no one had brought us out our order. So I took our receipt in to ask about our food. It took a minute for someone to come address me. I didn't see the woman we assumed to be the manager anywhere. So the young lady who addressed me asked me what I wanted to order, I informed her that we had already ordered and had not yet received our food. I was very polite and just wanted to check on it. The young lady goes back into the kitchen (to which is in my view and ear shot) and asks the woman who was cooking about our order. That woman proceeded to tell her co-worker " Well she is going to have to wait!" And the young lady came back to me and said it was being worked on. So I sat and waited and it was only like another two minutes after that, that the food was ready. But during those two minutes, the woman who was cooking our food continued to talk to her coworkers about me, calling me vuglar names and needless to say I can hear all of this. And when she goes to give the young lady our food, she is eyeballing me from behind the kitchenette. Unfortunately I did not get the cooks name who talked about me this way. And the manager throughout this whole time while I was inside was nowhere to be seen or to hear her employee talking that way in front customers. So the young lady brought me our food. And I thanked her and asked her to tell her friend God Bless her. And walked out without saying anything else. I get back to our vehicle and my husband informs me his drink was not even right. He asked for coke and got tea instead. After spending $32 dollars on our food and to be treated that way, I will not go back to Zaxby's location. Again, it was only the cook who I really did not appreciate her behavior, the rest of the staff was okay. So your experience may not be like this, but my family and I will not return there. Me and my husband ordered the 3 slider meal, no sauce, add pickle. Roughly half of the sodas at the machine were empty. As we sat waiting for our food, we were deciding whether to eat inside or go to our car to eat as it was very uncomfortably warm in the restaurant. My name was called for the order. The order was incorrect. I explained to the employee that was not what we ordered. The person that took our order, agreed and sent the food back. I then looked at my receipt and she had in fact put the order in wrong. My name was called again for our order. This time it was sliders but they were covered in Zax sauce. My husband told them that we wanted our money back but we would pay for the drinks. I was refunded my money and then she charged for the drinks. Read moreOrdered around 9:40pm. Expected a wait with a few other orders. After paying, we were pulled forward to a parking spot and told our order would be brought out shortly. We had two seperate employees come out and ask what we had, and said "oh this isn't it" and that was it for FOURTY minutes. We called the store, they asked us to come back to the window. We were then given a brief "sorry about that" and then asked if we would like a different item? We watched multiple employees do their closing duties, and we not only waited an hour for our food, we were asked to have something else.
