The Cabin Pub and Grub — Restaurant in Terre Haute

Have not been in here for a couple of years before tonight. Was just wanting to have a drink and try out the pool stick a friend had given to me. Lucky for me there were quite a few people in there left over from league that played pool well. They were a great bunch of people people some I had known from school or other places around town when I use to get out more. All in all they were very welcoming and even played down below there level to give me a few more shots. Will return to play some more I'm sure. And hopefully be able to progress and transition back to a level that is better suited to compete. Bar tender was more then prophishent at her job sounded like a bar keep and made drinks to order. Very nice place recently remodeled. same owner, has Steven's inn[its been cleaned up a lot] and the dog house too. Think called...

I'm changing my opinion about The Cabin because there are good people there and the food is good the bartenders are awesome I like the people that run the place I don't particularly care for certain people there but I do have a fun time sometimes. When I put the post before I was mad at a certain person that I was running around with and I shouldn't take it out on other people, but the bar used to be "The Satellite" and my dad played there in his band and I sang there when I was younger, before I could even get in a bar. It really hasn't changed...

I go there for the angus burger on texas toast with pepper jack cheese lettuce and tomato ... And a side order of these giant french fries that are soft enough i can get them chewed up with the 5 teeth i have left .and wash it all down with a 16 oz frozen thick glass of amber bock draft beer ..all for $12 bucks cheap ...it cost about $15 bucks at McDonald's for a quarter pounder cheese large fries and a frozen mocha ...the cabin is your most logical choice .and they aint afraid of their electric bill with ice cold beer and the A.C. turned...
