Already started with a slightly rude person taking orders who wasn’t happy with not being able to hear me (he was trying to take my order before I was at the window) and he ended up correcting himself and being nicer later on but once I got to the window the lady that greeted me tried giving me a coffee to which I said it wasn’t my order and she proceeded to read off most of my order while missing 2 things so just to be safe I said it also has these two other items and she seemed to go nicely fix it until the other worker came over which she then repeatedly started getting angry saying “I asked him that I asked him that” and then turned to me smiling and said “and you ordered a coffee with that as well right” showing she was still confused and mixing up the order so I went to go on my way without caring much and as I was leaving she started shouting to the other workers nastily that she had read off my order correctly and that she doesn’t know why I was complaining when i just wanted to make sure my order was correct because it was obvious they were scrambling a bit and we all know how fast food gets. Read moreConsistently understaffed. Every time we decide to go inside and every time that was a mistake. They prefer drive through over lobby customers. Two weeks ago, we waited five minutes to even be acknowledged by a worker and then another three minutes before they helped us. Today my husband was stuck in there for 14 minutes before returning with four muffins!! I work in the food service industry, so I know that people tend to exaggerate when they give a time reference like that. But I looked at my watch and stopped the time - I am not exaggerating here. A few months back, one of their servers went on a rant about how much they hate working there because management and more tenured workers don't care and rather "work" in the back than help them out with taking orders. We gave them the benefit of the doubt way too many times. After being disappointed and ignored on every visit for months, we finally decided not to return ever again. This location needs to figure out what management can do to properly train and retain people. Paying slightly above minimum pay is not enough. It would help to look at staffing levels or have workers share the duties. It also doesn't hurt to smile...
Read moreI truly regret eating at Dunks every time... once in awhile my coffee is bomb but the food sucks everytime.... this time the cardboard croissant tasted extra cardboardy, the cheese was so cooked it turned to plastic and the egg weirdly was falling apart. I usually go somewhere else always for breakfast food but once in awhile I get stuck here. My request for sugar packets was greeted with confusion and my initial order taker barked "Anything else" extremely loud after the coffee order and then sandwich order, so I was almost reluctant to ask for extra cheese but because I hate the food here I usually try to drown it out with cheese... BUT overall the feeling of being a bother to the employee will never sit right smh. I need to get a better coffee maker and more eggs this was not worth the $7...
