Not sure about the food necessarily but most definitely do not recommend renting their extra bar room for any events. A couple months ago my now husband and I reserved their extra bar room for our bachelor/bachelorette. We told them how many people, and they had us written down to have the room for that night from 8pm-close. We told the women in person the day we reserved it (who I’m pretty sure was the owner) that we would likely start arriving at 9, and she said that was fine, no questions asked. The day came around and my friends and I were headed there and our ETA was 9:15, so I figured I’d call to let them know we’d be 15 min late and when they answered they said okay and hung up. Two minutes later (mind you, it’s 8:25pm at this point) I received a call back from them saying “we already broke down the room because we had you written down for 8pm and thought you weren’t coming” ….??? I panicked of course because I have about 20 people headed to TJs for our Bach party. So I explained that we told them the day we booked we would be there around 9pm, and asked that even if we were booked for 8pm, how and why do they already have everything broken down at 8:25pm? And if we have it booked til close, why would you assume we aren’t coming if we are only 25 minutes late?? They proceeded to tell me that all they could do for us is not charge our friends the cover and that we could go in the regular bar area and give us back our money for the room (with our very large group, even though the place was packed) When I asked why they didn’t call us, they said the person who reserved for us never asked us for a phone number, and said that was their fault, yet they still were doing nothing to fix it. I’m on the verge of tears at this point because we have so many friends coming and we wanted our own space. I asked if there’s any way we can still use the room and that they don’t even really need to set much up. We even said we could go out to the regular bar to get drinks and just be in that room and they refused and said it was not possible. I told her I needed to reach out to my fiancé, so I called him and explained everything. He then called to see what the hell was going on, and they told him they had a bartender there for our room at 6PM… after they told me they had us written for 8…. When my fiancé mentioned we were written for 8 and said we’d come for 9, the owner (the same women we in person booked with) proceeded to say she would never agree to that time slot. And then hung up on him. So I arrived there with about 15 people because I thought surely they would see that we trusted them with our very special event and they would do their best to accommodate considering we had it booked until close. But no, I was told the exact same thing in person, even with a ton of our guests standing behind me. All to say, we most definitely did not stay and give them any service. Clearly their customer service is lacking, as they most definitely should have/could have corrected their mistake and made it work for us to have the room that we had reserved. Multiple friends of mine who have worked in the service industry said they think they forgot about our reservation and didn’t care enough to correct their mistake, and would’ve rather pointed fingers and made us at fault. I’m not one to write negative reviews but this was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had and would hate to see anyone else experience the same!! They did give us our money back for the rental, realizing I didn’t say this. But it definitely was not what we wanted...

You might drive right past the building without noticing—but that would be a mistake. Even when it’s quiet, TJ Callahan’s is a knockout lunch spot. The smashburger hit me square in the face with flavor, exploding thanks to a secret sauce that deserves its own spotlight. Then came the tortellini shrimp pasta in a creamy white sauce—unexpected, elegant, and absolutely delicious. The steak tips held their own too, rounding out a trio of dishes that all came out swinging. Fresh, fast and fierce cooking skills watching him fold flavors smartly.
Going when it’s not too busy gives you the lay of the land: live music setup, dart boards galore, and a function room that’s perfect for letting loose. Let them do the cooking—the food’s that good. You could easily plan a casual function that rolls into a full night out. No cover required doing it that way and no lines. A local regular tipped me off to that move, and I’m passing it on.
This isn’t a fancy spot—it’s relaxed, welcoming, and built for good times with friends. This is the type of Irish bar I grew up with. I'm 100% sure I would make new friends at the bar. That and the bartended sure adds some fun. The kitchen layout? One of the best I’ve seen. It’s designed for speed and precision, which translates directly to hot plates and happy guests. I didn’t expect folded pasta with seafood, or a smashburger that overloaded my senses. But that’s the thing about TJ Callahan’s: it’s full of surprises—the good...

Went here on Thanksgiving Eve and it's was broken into two sides. The busy, hopping, party. Or the laid back, more quiet family oriented side.
We chose the latter. Music was perfect as was the service!
I hate to say, "this was the best" any thing I've ever had, but yeah. It's the real deal.
Potato skins, homemade, and perfectly dressed. Not too much cheese, right amount of bacon, and cooked amazingly!
The burgers! OMG! Compared to what I've had in the area, just incredible. Best burger in a long time! Got the hot burger, and it wasn't too hot, but delicious. Cooked exactly medium rare, as requested.
This is the new burger joint and could not be happier!
Service, atmosphere, food, cleanliness!!! All 10 out of 10!
Will be...
