Arroyo's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Texas

We came in to celebrate my 21st Birthday and it was an absolute bust. The food was luke warm, the service was about nonexistent once the meals hit the table. I had to order my margarita 4 times before I got it. We then had to ask a lady in passing for our check. She then told us it would be all together and that she had told the person who made the reservation in advance, which was a lie. She also said she had told my mom when we first came in that it would be one check and she told her that we wouldn’t be able to do that. The lady stated my mom said “that was fine” which is also a lie. We were very blindsided with this as some didn’t come with much money. We were told it had to be evenly divided into 4 and they refused to let us individually pay for the meals we ordered. Resulting in some of us having to pay for more than what we ordered. The cashier was rude and refused to let me talk to a manager. She then tried to “better explain” as she moved us away from the front counter into the middle of the dining room while other customers stared and listened as she had attitude and waved her finger explaining that they could only do up to 4 custom payments we had no more than 4 different payment methods that we wanted to use. But refused to let us pay our individual meals and when I asked why she responded with “I don’t know”. I then asked to talk to someone who would know and she stated she was the one in charge of that area. Another customer tried to get involved as well saying “to give them a break, that they are a small town and aren’t used to big parties” she tried to explain to us how to break it down to make it make sense to the cashier and once we explained how they were making us pay she didn’t understand either. We were all very unhappy, highly do not recommend...

Been going here for years with family. Food is great but the service. Everytime we have a male server wait on us the customer service is terrible. I give high quality support to the female waitresses they are always so nice to my family and I. We went for lunch today our server was a young boy i didn’t feel very good customer service from him. Our appetizer was brought out along with the main course we ordered didn’t come check on us ask how everything was. Didn’t supply extra napkins and when we asked for something extra he would say it will be an extra charge which we already knew this from previous outings here. It use to be busy for lunch and dinner but ever since the hire male servers the services...

Food was slightly warm, not hot. Beef was very very ground up and low quality. Server was not attentive at all after the food came out. We had to ask another server walking by for our ticket, she informed us that it would all be one ticket. We had a group of 15, 4 separate payment methods. They refused to add up the total of each families meals separately so that we could pay for what we ordered. We were told it have to be divided by four so each family had to pay $74.50 a piece. We were very confused and trying to come up with a solution, Norma was rude and snappy and gave us no solution. This ended with some of us having to pay for more than what we ordered. I do not recommend eating here. We all left...
