Busta's Burgers — Restaurant in Texas

I don't normally write reviews, but the customer service was so disappointing that today was my first, and last, time getting food from this restaurant. They also refused to refund me for the item I did not receive. I ordered the Hot Mama and paid extra to substitute to onion rings and also ordered cheese sticks.

When I first walked in, the woman behind the counter had her back to me and she didn't turn around. She looked over her shoulder and only said "yes?" I let her know I placed an online order and gave her my name. No response. She continued packing up the order she was bagging then handed it to me. I live about 30 minutes from the restaurant so I checked the bag before I left. The burger had fries in the container and not the onion rings. I went back up to the counter and let her know the onion rings were missing. She sighed deeply and rolled her eyes then told me they were out of onion rings and contacted Door Dash to let them know. I let her know I'm not a Door Dash driver and I ordered the food directly through the restaurant's website and no one contacted me to let me know they were out. She said she didn't have a phone number for me, yet I had received a text from the restaurant shortly after placing the order so my phone number is in their system as is my email address. She asked if I wanted to get tater tots instead. I said no, as I don't like them. (They also aren't an equivalent substitution as that is a free substitution on their website.) She asked if I wanted something else and I told her this was my first time at the restaurant and I didn't know what else was an option. She offered me tater tots, fries, or one other item. I asked to be refunded for the onion rings instead and she told me she closed the register at 5 and wouldn't be refunding me. The website says they are open until 8 pm today. If their website said they close at 5 pm then I wouldn't have placed any order with them at all as it was already around 4:30 when I placed the order.

I don't mind when a restaurant is out of something. The issue is not being refunded for the item that I did not receive and the rudeness on top of it. There is no reason for someone to roll their eyes, do an exasperated sigh, and not even turn around when speaking...

I’ve come here before and wasn’t charged $3 extra to use Swiss cheese instead of the American that the burger comes with and then another $6 extra for extra tomato’s and lettuce, because they give you next to none, so I was surprised to see these additions on my bill this time. When I spoke up about it the cashier offered me nothing but an attitude and said it’s already made so they weren’t willing to remake it without the cheese. No understanding. And then she told the cook “don’t bag it, she don’t want it”..then they looked at each other and laughed at me. Yea weird experience all around. Terrible service.no accommodation. Would not recommend to ANYONE. Food isn’t even that good. Zero stars...

Quite honestly the best burgers we had in a very long time. Both my husband and I had the Bacon Double Cheeseburger burger. I had fries and he had chili cheese tater tots. We barely talked while eating because the food was so delicious. I ordered some apple pie eggrolls to go and I wish I got two orders. I was too excited to take pictures but we left there fully satisfied and we can’t wait to come back. Also the sweet lady who tooked our order was seriously the nicest person ever. I need to hug her for the recommendation of the apple...
