Caribbean HotPot Grill — Restaurant in Texas

I can’t really speak on the food because we never got it. I found this restaurant on Grubhub and my wife and I decided to give it a try. Placed the order for pick-up. I noticed that there wasn’t any movement on the order. So I called the number on Grubhub and on google. No answer and it gave a disconnected message. So I contacted Grubhub, they couldn’t get in contact with them either.

I decided to go up there because it was past the time it said it would be done. Got there. Told the young lady the order, she asked if I ordered on Grubhub. I said Yes. She replied, “Oh, we’re not accepting Grubhub orders.

I don’t think Grubhub knows that because you’re still up on their service and we both have tried calling multiple times and no one is answering or can even get through.

She said, “They know.” I’m still trying to understand how unless she believed they sent that notice telepathically, there’s no way.

So I asked, so how am I going to get what I paid for and order. She said well I can take you order and charge you for it and then whatever you did with Grubhub you’ll have to take it up with them.

There’s a big body dark skinned lady that takes orders at the 1960 location with the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for almost two years now and this is the 2nd time she took my order being very rude ! I can’t even finish a scentence before she cuts me off to rudely interrupt me ... even when I was speaking to someone else to ask for extra oxtail gravy on my rice she cuts the other worker off who already start to say no problem and says “we can’t give extra gravy” … SINCE WHEN DO YALL NOT GIVE EXTRA GRAVY? She some how has to find the need to interject… I’m not sure if she’s the manager or what but she needs to be in the back washing dishes or mopping floors because I’m sure if it’s happening to me it’s happening to many others and I will not come back to this location! Got the small jerk chicken plate, and I could tell it was old and reheated chicken, possibly from yesterday. If a restaurant doesn’t care enough about their patrons to at least attempt to give them fresh food, then they don’t deserve my business. Also the jerk sauce was unbearably hot. Being a Texan I can deal with heat, but it was hot to the point where my wife and couldn’t enjoy our food. And it was splattered everywhere probably to mask the dryness of the chicken. Never...
