This place was recommended to us on 12/29/2023 & we drove a little over an hour to check it out. I wish it wasn't recommended! I feel we wasted gas, time, & money!!! We ordered for two. Grits with grilled shrimp, & a fish & shrimp basket total $35+. The order taker kept repeating back Grits & fish to us, we corrected her each time "shrimp & grits". Upon pulling to the window to pay she still stated back to us "Grits & fish".. lol.. No ma'am "grilled shrimp with Grits, No fish & grits". She corrected that, cool. Waited about 20 minutes or so for our food. Gets food & grits are cold.. Lord the grits were cold, & not savory, no taste, no seasoning, no butter, no nothing just bland with about 6 shrimp sitting on top that. The shrimp was juicy, but equally bland as the grits. I added the lil salt & pepper packs from my plastic utensil pack & my guest plastic utensil pack. I just couldn't do it.. I mean eat it. I tried two shrimp off the grits. The plastic fork bent (not firmly made) while trying to eat a grilled shrimp. At that point I gave up my guest offered to swap out dishes so we did.. shouldn't have bothered.. although his food was hot & fresh.. the "seasoned fries" were bland like maybe the seasoning came off during the frying... not sure? The fish wasn't as bland as the shrimp & grits, & fries.. however, the fish still had very little flavor to it. I ate one piece of his fish & gave his plate back to him. So he was stuck with two plates. He pulled over to the store gas pump area & threw both plates away. Why'd he do that?? Yes, your guess is as good as mine he should have returned both plates.. cause that $35+ could have gone in our gas tank! "Could have been a not so good day".. According to the person who recommended this spot to us. Not sure what kind of day it was.. but we're...

They are advertising swai or basa as catfish when they DON'T sell real catfish. I called first as a courtesy to verify the type of fish/catfish they sell, so there wouldn't be an issue with them not givingme what I paid for. The employee assured me they sold real catfish. When we received our delivery order it was NOT catfish. I was born and raised on real catfish. So I know my catfish. They sold me either swai or basa as catfish which per the Federal food, drug and cosmetic act (21 U.S.C. 301 et seq.), they can't advertise or label fish as catfish, if it is NOT in the ictaluridae family. This was a law passed in 2003. With that being said. I calmly called back and asked to speak to a manager so this could be rectified. It took me getting hung up on and waiting on hold for an unacceptable amount of time before someone got on the phone to inform me that manager was not there and the manager would give us a call back during the week, since the day we made the order was a Sunday. I NEVER received that call. Some people may not care as long as the fish taste good. I definitely do. My biggest pet peeve is when a restaurant lies to me when I blatantly ask about the type of fish they are selling, then proceeds to give me what they want instead of what I paid for. That is a form of theft. I will never patronize catfish station. They have no business ethic. I will also file a complaint with the BBB and FDA. Smh, completely trifling. 😡🤬 A lot of restaurants cut costs by giving an imitation catfish. Which I honestly don't care, do what you do, as long as it doesn't affect me. If I ask, be honest and let me know that I may want to order something else, as you aren't for sure. I have respect for those restaurants that have been honest with me...

At the first look, you can see a fast food restaurant style, I mean, nothing upscale but practical and confortable, the boy who assited me, did it, in a very good way, recomend me the CRAWFISH PLATE, but, I was more interested in the specialty of the house, the CATFISH; I ordered a pound of FRIED CATFISH, that include a big side and a variety sauces to choose, I picked a french fries as a side and a spicy sauces, and an aditional bascket of a butterfly shrimps, the preparation process was acceptably fast, taking into account that my dishes were prepared at the time, nothing was previously ready or was reheated; The first thing that attracted my attention were the shrimps, the size, color and smell, made my mouth get wet immediately, I taked one by the tail and gave a big bite, the texture of the crispy and savory salted overflow and the delicate flavor of the shrimp was fortunately according to its appearance and its smell, a true delicacy, the fries were one of the better if is not the best, fries that I ever tried here in Texas, I'm not a fan of dark fish with strong flavor, I prefer light fish and soft taste as the red snapper and tilapia, I taked a piece of catfish and tryed, it was very tasty, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, very white meat, I very nice and soft flavor, I truly could enjoy every bite; me and 3 guests participated in that delight, the spicy sauce was very balanced not too hot, but really good. I am completely sure, that even though it was a sufficient portion for 4 people, if I had ordered another ration, we would have continued eating ...The cost was about 10.5$ each, including 1 drink with unlimited...

We ordered from here via phone and order was basically ready when we got there. It was hot, fresh, and accurate. We got the family bundle. Catfish, shrimp, Mac n cheese and fries. They also included hush puppies. The shrimp was good. Not tiny, good size and great taste. Same for catfish. Fries and hush puppies were good. Mac n cheese was also tasty. Kids loved it. I felt it was a good value for what we got. If you want some fresh seafood for a good price, this is a good place to go.

At drive through Brenda Castillo was super professional & helpful with recommendations, told me it's a 10 minute wait (YES, they made it fresh!) & said she'd bring it out to me. Ordered 1 fish taco, 1 shrimp taco and the fish basket with spicy tarter sauce and potato salad side. Everything was great, epecially the fish taco with cabbage, perfect for a hot summer day Thanks Brenda, we'll ABSOLUTELY see you again soon!
