Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Texas

I'm done with this location and never stopping by there again. I paid 30 dollars for a 16 piece deal. Its infuriating when I get to my home and there are only 8 pieces. I asked the guy at the window is everything in the bag and he said yes. I don't like to complain but when I shell out 30 dollars and they only give me half of the order its infuriating. I didn't call the store to complain because what the point they are going to tell me to go get it and I'm already at home in southside Alamo and its raining outside. This location has left items out of my order before but this is the last time ill stop by there again. fool me once....

update-I just spoke to the store manager and he explained to me what happened. I appreciate the effort to make things right and reaching out to me where other venues would have not...he was calm and helpful and I appreciate the apology. I lived in Pharr until I was 30. I remember when this was the only church's and going there with my parents all through my youth so I like to stop by there and pick up an order from time to time

I will not take down or edit the original review because it happened and nothing can change that and anyone headed home to a nice chicken dinner after a long hard day of work would have reacted the same but I will raise my star count for the call back and effort to correct it and because the food there has never disappointed me it always is...

My 5 year old daughter loves her chicken from church's chicken. Stop by today and got her the #1. Got to the window noticed drive thru employee covering his mouth while speaking into his headset. He graps my daughters food opens the box and I noticed his hands in her box. He opened the window and gives me my total which I handed my card and I asked him, Sir did you touch her food with your hands? Employee got offended and right aways says no I was just checking to make sure everything was in there. If you like I can refuse services ma'am. Refuse services to me because I asked you a simple question. I am sorry that I offended you, but I don't need my 5 year to get sick is what I told him. He then says well ma'am let me ask you a question, did you clean your hands before handing your card to me?.I'm like really.. I asked for his name and then he says I am the Store Manager my name is Robert as you can see on my tag.. Im like will Robert you dont have your name tag, then he says Ill let someone else serve you. A young lady came and took over. I told her I didnt mean to offend him, but he's hands over his mouth and speaking into his headset and then he opens her box and put his fingers in there. Which she said I understand how that looks... Thank you for understanding. Mr Robert please sanitize your hands before you handle...

waited for a side that they didn't have , meanwhile , they prepared the rest of the order , bagged it and after the 12 minute wait, they bring me everything and it's soggy I found this out after waiting to get on yhe expressway which is a minute up the road I had to go to a dr appt, so time was of the essence I called manager said to bring back the food to replace , I told him it'll be at least a few hours before I can. and he says that is fine. like he really wants me to wait on eating ( I'm pregnant so that'll be so hard ) and then he can replace it . yeahh , they know what they did and I'll be calling corporate I had soggy bombers and a soggy chicken sandwich :( not what I paid $13 for my little girl had to eat her strips that were also not so fresh but had hot mac and cheese . :/ before anyone complains I asked for everything to be fresh before hand and you would think they...
