New Review 4/23/22 Gave this location another try… what a huge mistake… this is a ZERO STAR RATING. After waiting in the drive thru line for over 15 minutes, I went inside. Male employee took my order. After ordering I was waiting and he was handling cash and then making orders without washing hands. He was also coughing or rather hacking with no mask. He then proceeded to tell everyone, “that’s what smoking does for you”. Then the cook joined in saying “I remember smoking, I got so sick I projectile vomited on everything”. After hearing that I really had forgotten about wanting to eat. I received half my order. 15 minutes later he puts the blizzards on the counter, and they were liquid. When I said something about them, he stated they’re fine, he turned the blizzard upside down and it dumped onto the counter. He then said I guess they are wrong. Another 10 minute wait for new blizzards. This is the most disgusting Dairy Queen in the State of Texas by far. I WILL NOT GO BACK… Avoid this location. Obviously this location is not visited often by any health/food inspector.

Read moreThis particular Dairy Queen is almost always mediocre at best. Very rarely do we NOT have to go back for a correction. Usually it's just for receiving a regular coke, and or fries, when we ordered large, and really (just to be clear about that)
Read moreOfficially not coming back. I've given this DQ at least a dozen chances over the last several months because I understand how covid has affected the restaurant industry. I'm not complaining about the wait times; even before covid there was an expected wait here but at least the food was good. The problem now is getting the orders coming back wrong, the food coming out half cooked, and poor employee attitudes, I'm over it. Last night was the last straw. I got home from the drive thru to find my burger didn't come at all how i ordered it, the french fries were luke warm and still uncooked in the middle. This has happened many times but I kept giving them a chance. From now on ill just go to McDonalds. It's sad, the McDonalds didn't even compare to how good this DQ was. I've lived here for 25 years and have dined here hundreds of times since i was a kid; but its not worth it anymore to keep coming back. You'll definitely keep turning a profit from tourists and lake visitors, but long time regulars are going to start walking away. I'm sorry to the owners but this DQ needs an overhaul on food quality and customer service...
