Read moreHello, to whom it concern Today at 12:37 i went the delias in 2000 N Jackson Pharrr. I ordered 2 dozens tamales of chicken and cheese and a 1/2 dozen tamales of beans and cheese. When we got to the window and paid the cashier named Michelle treated us ok. Then when we noticed that they only gave us 3 salsas of each. we asked if we could get an extra salsa because we always went to this restaurant and the salsas are our favorites. Then her attitude changed and she got really aggressive. She said with an aggressive tone that she could only give us one more so i told her that it was fine but if there was a problem i wouldn’t mind paying for them. she said well i don’t know, do you want me to charge them again in her aggressive tone. Then i told her ok but you don’t have to be rude and yell at me. So when i was talking to her she slammed the window in my face. Seconds later she opened the window she told me it was going to be 6.00 and i just asked if it was for the small ones and she said yes. So then i asked for someone else to charge me instead since she was rude and she slammed the window again and she had us waiting there like 3 min. Since they took a while i thought that someone else was coming and when they opened the window the sheriff just started yelling at me. I really think that he took advantage of his badge him being a county sheriff he doesn’t have the right to treat us like that. Because my daughter asked him why he was yelling and he said that he wasn’t talking to her. So I didn’t really feel like I wanted them anymore so I went to return them. Because honestly going there two times a week she treated us...
Read moreHonestly, i don't know what all the hype is about. The corn used to make the tamales isn't freshly made which takes a lot away from the flavor. With most things in the valley, and i say this with all do respect, its a small area located 200 miles from the nearest major city and a lot of the folks down here don't know what 5 star food is. I read reviews all the time stating this and that place is 5 star down here, yet i'm mostly let down. Just know, 5 star here isn't the same as 5 star in Austin TX. The best flavors come from freshly cooked sweet corn scraped off the cobb and crushed up, not cornmeal. My mother n law is Panamanian, she cooks everything fresh and to be honest, her tomales blow this place away. One last thing, once you get your drink and food, they have a stand to get your salsa, lettuce, esc..... There is nothing worse than watching 10 people touch the tongs with there hands and then toss it onto the food for me to use. I'm not sure if places like this think people will gently place the tongs back into the tray, but they toss them in there sideways and it lays across the food. Now imagine this going on for hours. Like i want whatever was on there hands touching my food. I never checked the bathroom, but i should have, it's a good sign of overall cleanliness if the bathroom is clean, but like i said, i never got around to it. The overall appearance inside the restaurant was clean and the tables were clean. They had a security guard at the entrance as well. I'm not sure what that was all about, but i'll take it. Overall staff was amazing. I'd give the staff a...
