I truly enjoy having breakfast at Jimmy's Egg. It's a preference. I love the food, and the staff is friendly. I do like going there. But I have one small issue that makes a huge difference with my dining experience. Why does a breakfast place that has such good $2 coffee have to be so cheap with their flavored creamers. Pre-pandemic, you used to have a variety of flavored creamers in a bowl, per table. Now, you have to request the creamer. Then when you do get it, it's a 50/50 chance you don't get a flavored creamer. Maybe it was just the McAllen location. So now that I'm at the Mission location, I had to request a creamer as well. This time, of course it wasn't the flavored kind, like they used to have pre-pandemic. Instead, they gave me milk in disposable containers. (See photo of my coffee with the creamer in disposable containers.) Please bring back the flavored creamers at the table. Don't make us diners request the creamer, on top of asking for the flavored kind as well. A variety of flavored creamers at the table with your coffee used to be part of the charm of going to Jimmy's Egg. And now those days are just...

AMAZINGLY Jimmy!! Those eggs were super soft and delicious. The bacon so crispy and the potatoes that came with my very veggie omelette we well seasoned and melted in my mouth. Speaking of omelettes, I ordered a western and all veggie omelette, cooked to perfection, veggies were delicious, soft and flavorful. The chocolate chip pancakes were fluffy and sweet, great for the kiddos. The fruit bowl that came with my breakfast was fresh and tasty. Aside from the yummy food, the staff was super welcoming, attentive and full of smiles. We were seated within a couple of minutes and a couple of minutes after, our server was quick to introduce herself and find out what she could bring for us, outstanding!! The manager was so cheery and allowed me to take some great pics of the breakfast plates being freshly made by his great cooking staff, thanks buddy! To wrap it all up, this is a great breakfast spot and will be going back for more. Don’t miss out on Jimmy’s eggs, get it while it hot!! Eh... it was just ok. It wasn’t the worst, it wasn’t the best. It is just a step up from I-HOP, nothing more and nothing less. I had the fudge iced coffee which was just iced coffee with whipped topping and chocolate sprinkles. For food I had the Reese’s pancakes with yogurt and tomatoes. The pancakes were so rich, I couldn’t finish them all. The yogurt was supposed to be vanilla with granola and strawberries, but there were frozen blueberries hidden and I was not prepared for that, nor were they good. My dad had coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes. He said the meat was low quality. We had to chase our waiter down to pay the bill, after sitting for 15 min waiting. I’ve been sick ever since 10 min of...

Dad and I went to the Jimmy's Egg on Shary road just south of expressway 83 in Mission. I liked the way they took our temperature, they use a wall mounted monitor, just hold your arm up in front of it and it reads you temperature instantly. I've always liked the omelette's at Jimmy's, so I ordered one with spinach and covered in hollindaise sauce, with a side of bacon and fruit. I like that Jimmy's offers a choice of two sides with your main selection. Dad ordered waffles with strawberries with bacon and hash browns. Dad loves his hash browns. The service was on point, never had to ask for a refill of coffee, and our food arrived shortly after ordering it. If you need a breakfast fix Jimmy's Egg is the place to go.
