Read moreI'm not really big into seafood but decided to give this place a try. Ended up getting a multiperson sampler and some stuffed crab as appetizers. I didn't realize the sampler already came with 2 stuffed crabs, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the appetizer. About that stuffed crab. You could tell it was freshly made unlike some other local seafood restaurants that use frozen ones. The sampler itself came with 2 ceviche tostada's, 2 soups, 2 crab, 4 pieces of fried fish, 6 fried shrimp, and 2 shrimp cocktails. It also came with fries, onion rings, and a salad. The sampler itself cost $40 and it is well worth it. I unfortunately learned that fish ceviche is really not for me, however it was worth trying. The fish was good and didn't really have a heavy fishy flavor. I am not sure but after a short discussion with my friend we came to the conclusion that it may have been Tilapia since that is what is most common locally. The shrimp were decently sized, not exactly what I would call jumbo but not small nor medium either. The cocktails were as good if not better than any other cocktail I've had, in fact, they took me back to my childhood to when I would get cocktails at the Gigante in Reynosa. Overall it was a great meal and we had plenty of leftovers. Great value overall. I would definitely recommend this place and will probably be going back, which is more than I can say about any other local...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE! If I can give them negative ZERO stars and sue them I would. If you want to live and not lose your life due to a medical emergency, do not go here. A family friend dined here recently with their friend for an early dinner. After they ordered their meals and received only their drink, he noticed his friend was having a stroke (one sided facial drooping, slurring words, falling to one side). He asked the server nearby to call 911, and the server responded "why?" and he said "my friend is having a stroke." And the server said, "No." So he had to call 911 himself!! And they have the nerve to chase him outside to the ambulance and demanded payment for the food they never received or even eaten! This is disgusting behavior and lack of compassion and empathy for a human being. His friend is now in the ICU post brain surgery. He had a massive brain bleed. EVERY MINUTE COUNTS when it comes to a stroke, and they wasted time refusing to call 911. Please do not support...
