La Casita Refresqueria — Restaurant in Texas

I got snow cone all over my car because these people want to cheap out on cheap cup holders man. Anyways. I call in my order ahead of time and get an estimated time of 20 minutes my order will be ready. The lady on the phone spoke English but when I arrived the person at the drive through persisted to speak Spanish to me even though I’m speaking English to you? Anyways, arrive and the order is not ready. They say 5 minutes for the tacos and I waited another 15 - 20 minutes for this order to be ready. They give me the cup holder full with 4 snow cones, and I’m sure she was trying to tell me in Spanish to be gentle, move slow because they cups will fall out, and what happened? I moved to place the cupholder on my passenger seat, and snow cone went flying everywhere. This whole experience, just wasn’t enough for me to come back to this place. Yes they replaced the snow cones but after work I’ll have to deal with sticky snow cone all over my car that more than likely is going to stain everything it has touched. I was on lunch break. Lost the ability to even enjoy the rest of my lunch because I spent 20 minutes in line. I’m good on this spot. Been here twice in my life and the wait is...

So far, this place does not miss. We try something new each time we've been and have yet to be disappointed. The torta, street tacos, tostadas, Mexican burger, the small nachos, and obviously the corn have all been amazing. Looking forward to trying a sno cone and a Paloma one of these days!

The only cons I would say is that waiting in the drive thru is a very long wait (25-40 minutes). We have started calling in our orders for pick up to save time. The food can be a bit pricey as well (though it is nearly worth it), and it's hard to find a menu photo or description online that's clear or...

Poor customer service! Waited 20+ minutes for a raspa and corn. Lady at the front had our order sitting there with out informing that it was ready, she stated that we shouldn’t of been waiting at the tables outside because there’s only two workers which is understandable but she should have said that when we ordered, she saw us walkout. She then got upset that I asked for the melted raspa to be remade.
