Montezuma Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Texas

We had been at the restaurant since 7:42 and didn’t receive our food till 9:33. Yes we had over more than 11 people at our table. I kept asking the waitress what’s going on and she did say she was checking on it first she said they took all the small orders then do ours then I spoke to the manager and he said let me check them said it’s coming right own there went another 20 minutes that’s when I tried to contact the own, yes he did get there and we spoke on this situation and he did apologize but after thinking about it over night not all my parties got the discount and some even paid full price. I specifically told him if they were short handed why didn’t the manager go back there and help the cook. Just for avocado with nacho ships which only contains 4 chips took that long and cheese was so hard and showed the owner and he didn’t charge us for that. Never have I or my family had to experience this and at that super super experience!! We went to celebrate 4 bdays and ended up leaving very very disappointed and with that either he needs to hire more cooks and lower he’s prices 2 weeks prior we spent about $500.00 just for 6 kids and 3 children so tell me what does that tell you. I hope this gets resolved cause if you only have us 15% and at that some people payed full price that was wrong and you will only know why people will stop going. God bless y’all! WORST...

been going there since it opened...seems to get worse and worse. hard to get refills, everytime I go except for the first time , never have the sides items I would prefer. ....... ive had server bring me wrong plate and get an attitude about it when she didn't write the order down and then had the gall to get upset when I didn't leave a tip. the final straw , was when I sat there over 50 minutes waiting for food and found out it hadn't even been started because apparently the cook ( who was some management because they had to call him to void out mybpkate) he didn't start my order because a table of 6 who order before me, was too much for him. or at least that what the server told me. come to find out the table of 6 was wanting to leave but was arguing over the resturant trying to still charge them for food they didn't get never going back, and I went enough times for one of their servers to remember me, when I went...

This was my first time going with my family, it had looked nice on the inside but very dark you couldn’t see the menu much my mom had to use a flashlight on her phone to read the menu and they didn’t have the right prices for their mixed drinks first off the one I got said $9.99 on the menu and ended up paying $11.28 for it. I didn’t like the salsa much it tasted old. And I had got a large menudo but it was in a small bowl so my husband and I weren’t happy about it. My mother ordered tacos tripitas but they charged for all the dressings. Like isn’t that suppose to come with it to begin with?! They definitely charged for a refill and had to wait a good minute until the lady finally came and asked. The beer/alcohol tax was ridiculous to me and also the gratuity that’s all to expensive for my taste. We will not be going back that’s for sure. Definitely look into reviews before deciding on going...
