Cafe Arte — Restaurant in Mission

I had been looking forward to trying out this spot based on reviews I've seen across social media. It met and exceeded my expectations. This place is a gem!

I dropped in on a Saturday evening as sunset was approaching. There is amazing scenery with indoor and outdoor seating. This spot is a feast for your eyes as well as your appetite.

I grabbed a shaded seat outside so I could enjoy the fresh (thankfully cooling) air while I read on my Kindle.

I started with the Espresso Matcha Latte. It was absolutely delicious! I will be back for this alone!

Then, came the crepes (yeah, I had crepes for dinner. So what?). I had opted for Nutella with strawberry. Let me say, they live up to the name Cafe ARTE. The crepes looked like a piece of artwork. The presentation alone was spectacular. It was clearly carefully crafted. I'm glad I ordered two. I devoured both while trying to savor as much as I could with each bite.

The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout even as they hustled to serve across their wide-open space where customers are spread out.

Live in sharyland area stopped by to see what this lil gem was all about . Took my husband to explore other options. What got me was outdoor seating I just wish more places offered that. So we ordered 2 coffees and decided to order breakfast order of bacon and egg tacos . Omg! We were so shocked the coffees were delicious my husband had a white chocolate mocha and I had the espresso cortado . The tacos were the cherry on top, perfect serving size and delicious. I met Sandra the owner she’s super nice like that she took time to socialize with us. She told us about evening times where they sell tacos , hotdogs and burgers. Will definitely return. Offer a fair range of delicious food, fresh fruit for crepes, fantastic coffee lattes, big selection of loose leaf teas! Of course they have a ton of fun games books and puzzles. Beautiful layout of C-Can buildings connected with a pretty wooden bridge with gorgeous paintings featuring Frida Kahlo in her most sassy cigarette holding pose As much as I appreciate all the atmosphere and wonderful array of drinks and food, it’s the lovely people that own and operate this cafe that bring us back often!
