I'm gonna start with saying this place used to be good, like when they first opened. It is Mother's day and I went to go eat with my husband, son and daughter. We got there at 1:15 pm, there are not that many people, a couple of families that have already been served. There were 2 other couples that arrived there after us. They get served first. We are still waiting for our food. They then bring our kids their plates. They brought my son a half order of panchos when he had asked for the full order. Waitress was nice and said she would tell them to fix it and bring the other half. My husband and I continue to wait for our food. It is now 2:13 pm, no food yet for my husband and I. My husband is very upset at this point because we wanted to eat with our kids. We decide it's best for us to leave and pay for what we did eat. They were upset, I could hear them in the back, saying in Spanish but its out already. I told them no its ok we are leaving. They did not apologize, they did not feel bad that they ruined my mother's day lunch. They were upset that we decided to leave and not pay for a botany for 2 for $55 that we were not going to be able to eat with our kids. So disappointed because we did like the place but customer service is horrible, food wait time is horrible. We were the only family left, so no excuse for our food to...
Read moreThe huevos rancheros are good and for $8+ you get 2 eggs, 2 fried corn tortillas, refried beans, potatoes and bacon.
The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium but I wasn't a big fan of the circle shape, the salsa for the eggs is very delicious, the fried tortilla was okay but it's more like a tostada, the potatoes were very plain I would recommend the owner to make them a la mexicana for color and flavor, the bacon was pretty tasty and the refried beans were good.
They give you corn gorditas & beans/salsa while you wait, the first time the beans were delicious but the other time the beans were tasteless the salsa is delicious and so are the gorditas.
The flour tortillas are store bought and aren't really good, I do think the corn tortillas are homemade they are okay.
Overall a good place for breakfast, they do have room for improvement by making their own flour tortillas (or buying better ones), I noticed that their staff change the price for certain dishes by adding coffee on days that it's free or charging more than what the Manu says. Because of this reason I will give the place a 3/5...
Read moreThis place is amazing, if you get a good waiter/tres, and if you come with a max party of 5. Other than that, this place was horrendous, one waitress for a full family of 18. Waited 2 exact hours until the last plate came out. 1 hour and 26 minutes before the first plate came out and the rest in increments of 15 minutes. And most of the orders were forgotten. Our waitress was attending other tables that arrived, ate and left before we even got our drinks. Tip gratuity was included when we detected the service. The owner was there too but didn't seem to attend a new family, rather his regular customers. Give this restaurant another 2 years or less before it dies down with that...
