Murphy's Deli — Restaurant in Texas

Find this place in the corridor between 5825 and 5875 NSHPW, closer to the Shawcor building. There is a courtyard between the buildings with an entrance the opens directly in front of this shop.

I used to eat weekly at another location in Greenspoint which closed in 2019. Any time I'm out running errands in another part of town at lunchtime, I look for a Murphy's to scratch that Muffuletta itch.

Today was my first time to try this location. What a neat find. Very clean and comfortable space, and the franchisee was working behind the counter - very nice lady who seems to know all of her regular customers and care about what's going on in their lives. The food was exactly what I expected.

I called this location to check on an order I made through UberEats and the lady who answered is of Asian decent was extremely rude to me and hung up in my face. She clearly doesn’t understand how UberEats works and kept asking me if I called Uber to place the order. I will never order from this location or step foot inside of if because hanging up in a customer’s face because you don’t comprehend well or there’s a language barrier is not the solution. HORRIBLE...

This Murphy’s location is conveniently located off of the Beltway and is an easy In and Out. The food quality is consistently good and the service-with-a-(masked)-smile is always appreciated. The deli is clean and well maintained, I feel very comfortable eating here. I highly recommend trying this location out! Great...
