Update #3 since the owner wants a more detailed experience: We decided to dine here for a friends birthday dinner. It was a Wednesday night. They had about 3 tables filled including our party, which was a total of 3 people. The atmosphere was pretty quiet. They sat us next to the kitchen, which probably explains the extreme heat we were experiencing. We started fanning our faces with paper that we had in our purses. The waiter saw it and turned on an electric floor fan. That definitely helped somewhat. We waved him down after 10 minutes to order drinks and an appetizer. My friends ordered a bottle of moscato and cheese bread. I ordered a bottle of red wine with fried calamari. The calamari was pretty good. They were a good size. Flavor wise the batter was a little too thick for my liking. So we’re then ready to order our main dish, and again we waved the waiter down because it was “obviously” extremely busy. We made our selections, I ordered the Marsala Veal which stated it was topped with wine sauce. My friend ordered the same. The birthday girl ordered the penne pasta with chicken in marinera sauce. The wait time for the food wasn’t too bad. The food finally gets to the table, I automatically looked at my piece of veal in disappointment because the “wine sauce” looked like a thick layer of gravy. It had more peppers then meat. The “gravy” was pretty bland. The meat was over cooked to the point it was tough to chew. I only ate half and decided to take the other have home to show my husband their version of veal dish. So the night continues we decide to order a slice of cake for the birthday girl. The slice of cake was ok. Presentation of it was sloppy. We wave down the waiter third time now to bring our bill. We gracefully paid and tipped without making a big deal on the service or food. We weren’t there to cause any issues we just wanted to enjoy our fiends birthday. Side note: who ever is taking care of your online responses needs to be replaced with someone that has CSR experience because this responses are absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

*update 2 to response of the restaurant * The response back shows exactly where you stand with customer service. The photos of the dishes that I ordered are on my review take a look at them, so you can know exactly what dishes I reviewed. Even though food wasn’t what I expected. I didn’t send anything back, paid for tab plus 20% tip to the waiter that didn’t deserve it....

We decided to try Nicole's Italian Restaurant because it is close to our house and we pass by all the time. When we arrived there were 6 or 7 cars in the parking lot but no one in the dining room. We were greeted and seated promptly. They offer wine and beer, no full bar. Two of us ordered a pepperoni pizza to share and one order lasagna and we all got salad. The salads was fresh and we were offered bread and spiced oil for dipping. The bread was store-bought loaf bread. When our pizza arrived, I was surprised that there was only 1 piece of pepperoni on each slice. The pepperoni was discolored and tasted old, passed its expiration date. The pizza crust and cheese were good, there was no sauce. The lasagna was the worst we have ever tasted, we also believe the meat was spoiled. When the server checked on us, we explained our dislikes and she said she would get the manager. She talked to him and the cook and they said the food was good. The manager didn't even come talk to us! We paid our check and left and will never return! It has been over an hour and our stomachs still hurt. I would not recommend this...

We have wanted to try Nicoles for quite some time, and finally got the chance, Saturday 6/19. This restaurant is in a house that was transformed into a restaurant.Huge deck with tables outside, but it's 95 degrees, so we skipped that idea. The staff was very pleasant, and knowledgeable of the menu. We started with the fried sampler plate. Fried calamari, mushrooms, zucchini. and mozzarella, with marinara, all were fried well, and were tasty. For entrees we had: Nicoles combo with shrimp, chicken, and veal, with artichokes, and mushrooms, in a light champagne cream sauce, with angel hair pasta. this was awesome, with plenty of shrimp, and artichokes. The other was a trio of Lasagna, veal Parmesan, and fettuccine Alfredo, all were delicious, and well represented. Our iced tea was great, and our waiter kept them full. The only shortcoming of the evening was the Canollini we ordered for desert, the shell was very hard, and shattered every time we tried to cut it, the filling was ok. All in all a great evening at a fair price. All this was $62...

If you’re looking for a true hidden gem of authentic Italian food, this is it. It’s tucked away and unassuming, but once you find it, you’ll wonder why you ever ate Italian anywhere else. You absolutely need to make a reservation because it’s that personal. This is an intimate, family-run spot where every table is cared for. The phone number can be a little finicky, so the best way to reach them is by email (they are super responsive!). When you walk in, you’re treated like family. The food tastes like your grandma’s… or maybe even your great-great-grandma’s recipes, simple, rich, and full of love. Eating here feels like spending a weekend at a lake house with old-school Italian comfort food made just for you. Cozy, warm, and unforgettable. If you want a dining experience that feels like home and food that will stay on your mind long after, make the reservation. You won’t regret it.

Stopped by Friday night and had a very relaxing and nice first time experience. Eating alone can sometimes be awkward depending on the restaurant and atmosphere, however, eating alone here was refreshing. The music was calming, the seating was very well set up for social distancing, and food was great! To compare this quaint hometown restaurant to a large chain like Olive Garden is unfair and not a compatible comparison. Nicole's Italian food was fresh and had it's own flair. The Salada Italiana was excellent, the garlic loaf was crunchy with cheese inside and had a perfectly paid olive oil for dipping, and the chicken parmagiana was thin sliced (not overly breaded or too heavy). Lastly the Tiramisu was without a doubt homemade and fresh. The full meal was excellent, the staff was kind and attentive, and the Resturant was adorable and clean. I will be bringing my husband back for sure!
