Update: Aside from bad food, these people are CROOKS. We were gifted a gift card to this restaurant by some close friends so we decided to give it one more try. The food was not good, just barely edible. The table, salt & pepper shakers and utensils were gross, but we figured at least it was going to be free. When we tried to check out with the gift card, the waiter said the gift card did not have a balance. We had beed given the receipt by our friends as well as the gift card so we knew they were either mistaken or lying. When the "owner" checked on the computer, he said the same thing. Either the card was not loaded properly or the worker that helped our friends purchase the gift card swiped the money. Either way, the gift card was not honored. They dont have a secure system as all that would have been needed to steal the gift card was a 3 digit number printed and clearly visible on the card. Like I said, these people are crooks.

We’ve visited twice. The first time round the food was ok. We got fajitas. The last time we went my daughter ordered Mac and cheese… well there was “greenish” stuff in it, it smelled and tasted sour. She didn’t tell us until we left and her stomach started hurting… this has NEVER happened at a restaurant… that’s why she didn’t complain, she assumed it was safe to eat.

Don’t get the Mac and...

Dried out food. I got a cheese enchilada and a tamale and the sour cream sauce was curdled and dried up. Tamale was hard. I think it sat under the lamp for too long. Main server was standing outside of the kitchen laying on the wall playing on a cell phone. Could not get his attention to let him know that my food did not turn out right. Ended up just paying the bill and leaving because my husband did not want to complain. Service was awful. Kept trading between 2 servers and forgetting about us. Every time we needed a drink refill, the server would take the tea glass back to the kitchen and fill it up and bring it back which I don't think was sanitary. He got called to a table for a complaint on his way to fill my drink and took the drink to the other table and stood there with it the whole time. The other waiter did not speak English and could not tell me what kind of sauces came on my entree. I understand it's a Mexican restaurant but I think the server should at least speak English. The place was set up nicely and the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't make the choice to...

This place is an old restaurant with terrible food. My very first impression walking in the door was this place was loud and it sounded like a club. Then the busboy brought us our menus and ask for our drink order. The menu was old and falling apart with mold all over it. I ordered Street nachos with beef and my fiancé ordered cheese sour cream enchiladas. The description stated mine was in a bowl, so I figured it wasn’t that large. To my surprise it was huge plate of nachos and the flavor wasn’t great. The meat tasted like it was boil in the bag meat. Then my fiancé received chicken sour cream enchiladas not cheese sour cream enchiladas like she ordered. We definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OF BUISNES. The water is horrible tasting and Dr Pepper can not even mask the the horrible flavor, also the bar tender grabs the rim of the glass with her fingers instead of grabbing the base of glass. The chips are disgusting and the oil they fry them in must be old as the building itself. I could go on ranting about this place but I’ll stop and give others the opportunity to have...

This place is fantastic! It feels like stepping back in time to when Tex-Mex was affordable and portions were generous. The value here is truly refreshing. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean, making it extremely family-friendly. While the margarita is decent, it’s not the highlight of the visit. The food, however, is a standout. The quesadillas are amazing at just $14 for eight pieces—many places charge the same or more for only four triangles! These quesadillas are loaded with cheese, and the steak and chicken are tender and juicy. I also tried the Dirty Donkey, a large beef burrito smothered in their delicious chili gravy, served with beans and rice, and a crunchy taco for only $13. Additionally, I ordered a two-taco combo plate that included an enchilada (I chose cheese) and a tamale, and beans and rice all drenched in chili gravy. The combo came with a crunchy beef taco and a soft chicken fajita taco, offering great value and a substantial amount of food for around $14. I can’t wait to return the next time I’m in the area!

This place is fantastic! Our server was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. I'd highly suggest getting the White Queso! Everyone at our table really enjoyed the flavor. My order was beef fajitas, and the meat was well seasoned and tender, not tough! The salsa here is not spicy, but it does have a "kick" to it, if that makes sense. We did not leave hungry, and the staff did a great job seating everyone else in the restaurant so families weren't crammed together. My favorite part though is definitely the service. I believe our server may have been the owner as he was extremely attentive to our drinks needing refilled, very talkative (in a good way!) and made sure everything was done to our needs. I have never had this level of service from any restaurant, extremely satisfied!

Went to have crawfish on Wednesday. Haven't been in a good while, and still pleased overall. We forgot the white queso has jalapenos, and the staff was real quick to fix my 6 year olds nachos with plain queso. I was happy they made him a kids nacho, but it was huge! The downside, refills took a little longer, one potato/corn for 3 lbs, and they dust the crawfish to make them spicy. The mudbugs were not overcooked, very clean, and out of the 3lbs., I had maybe 5 dead ones. They are normal sized for this time of year, and overall good. Plus, they serve pink sauce like I get in Houma. Major points for that, we just lacked drink refills throughout service. Also, salsa is very tasty. If you like spicy salsa, and thin chips this is perfect. Their green salsa is great also.
