THEY CHARGE CUSTOMERS THE CREDIT CARD FEES. Typically restaurants mark their food up 40% of cost and this helps pay for all extras while also making profit. I don’t see their food menu being any cheaper for what they are selling to offset the fact they are charging the customers these fees. When i asked why there was a service fee. He said it was for service. I clarified with him was this for the credit card fees and he said yes. So he wasn’t even knowledgeable on the fact of they were charging a credit card fee he said it was for service fee.
Besides that staff unfriendly. Walked in and acted as if seating us was bothering them talking at the front.
Waiter came to the table with the personality of a porcupine. I noticed the drink menu didn’t have wines on there. So i asked if they served wine. The way he said yes made me feel as if i should have known yet again it’s not listed on cocktail menu. I asked what kind of wines do you have and he rudely said red and white. Omg i thought he was joking but he wasn’t. He had no desire to tell me the types of wine they had. I explained to him there are many different types of reds and many different types of whites. If you could, please tell me the types of Wine he had. He don’t seem for sure so i just asked if he had Pinot Grigio to help him from having to try to remember what all they He said yes, I asked what brand it was as some of the cheaper brands (which was all they had) tend to give me a headache. He didn’t know so I just said if you could just come back after he puts in the drink and let me know so I know whether to order wine or not. And again seemed annoyed.
Between being unknowledgeable about the menu and rude, zero friendliness and an all around vibe from the place that we were an inconvenience from the minute we walked into the establishment, we picked up and left.
As we were walking out my mother in law told the girls chatting it up by the register goos luck staying open. The girl actually got an attitude and said something back to her. I stopped and explained to her why we were leaving. Not the she cared. We mentioned about charging the customer the credit card fee, and she said yeah well we give you a cash discount not only have I owned a business with a restaurant my family currently still has bars and restaurants. I know exactly about charging customer the credit card fees, and we have opted out. They don’t give you a cash discount they just don’t charge you the fee. That’s when the girl just looked at me because I’m not one she can scam with that.
Needless to say good luck. It seems to be between having a lack in customer service, according to the reviews, the food is subpar and you’re charging customers credit card fees My mother-in-law was not far off and telling them good luck on staying open. nowadays it’s very hard for most restaurants to stay open With all of these things being great,...

Read moreI'm very excited about this new place in livingston. This is a smallish town and for a nice Sports bar and grill like this to open up is very cool. This will definitely be a hit! The beer is ice cold, food taste great and the service was awesome. I'm disappointed at some of these reviews because this place literally just opened up. For someone to ask a brand new establishment opening up to be perfect is crazy. It takes time to train people and put in the work to make something like this happen. Cooks will have to get acclimated to the dinner rushes. Tonight luckily with the rain there wasn't any kind of wait or rush for a Saturday, but there was plenty of people there. I do have a minor suggestion though for the menu. The paper menu that is currently out should have the main ingredients for the dishes on it. For example, tonight my wife ordered the cajun pasta. When it came out she immediately didn't want it because it had shrimp in it and she hates seafood. If it would have been on the menu shown to be in the cajun pasta she wouldn't have ordered it. I took it instead and still paid for it, but it could haven averted if it was shown on the menu. Same with the mushroom burger, most mushroom burgers only have Mayo, Swiss cheese, patties and grilled onion. When I received my burger it was a plain classic burger just with mushrooms added to it. So to me it wasn't an actual mushroom burger. Other than those things, service was great. We all know a new place will have to iron out the kinks and that's to totally fine. This place is good for livingston and will...
