Sofia's Pizzeria - Evans — Restaurant in Texas

Let me start with the food itself - probably the best slice I've had in quite some time. In particular the sausage on our pizza - some places you just don't get much flavor out of that protein.

Wings are plump.

Now, the only problem I encountered had to do with pickup time. I ended up waiting more than 30 minutes past the estimated pickup time posted on my online order. Granted, it was a Friday night, and there was a steady stream of patrons coming and going and I waited. All that in mind, seems like there are some logistics that need to be worked out on placing orders and adjusting estimates pick up times. I agree with several of the other reviews this place has pretty good to good pizza but way overpriced especially for the inconsistency in the quality but even at the highest quality I've received in my 3 visits it's grossly overpriced. Go 1 mile away to Marcos and get a thin crust (their best pizza) or go to 46th Street pizza (I haven't been but gas to be better overall experience). I recommend revisiting pricing maybe keep the individual slice prices high or even bump them like 50 cents up and bring down the pie prices because that's what family's usually order. I really love the pizza here however, do not even attempt to get it delivered! Every time I’ve ordered for delivery (which is often bc I’m lazy) it’s been a terrible experience! Pizza arrives extremely past the anticipated delivery time. I’ve had to call the restaurant 3 times on different occasions to see what is going on. This last delivery I placed my order at 6:40 pm and pizza did not arrive until 8:40, but my delivery time was 7:20pm. I called the restaurant several times trying to track my order and no one ever answered! I really like their pizza but I don’t even want to order from there any more bc of my horrible experiences...
