This Starbucks is located inside a food court on Fort Cavazos and it’s honestly the worst Starbucks location ever. I’m not sure if their espresso machine is broken or they’re being cheap, but the espresso drinks are always extremely watered down. If you order a latte without extra shots, it’s just watery milk. Today I ordered a quad grande latte and it was somehow also extremely watery with a small hint of espresso flavor. It’s the La Croix of espressos over here. This isn’t just a one or two time issue, this is a regular occurrence in all the times we’ve gone since moving here. I know I should learn my lesson, but unfortunately it’s the closest to where we live and it opens earlier than the other locations on Fort Cavazos. Besides the drinks being bad, they aren’t updating stock for the app. Every other store will block certain foods or syrups from being ordered, but this one will not. You’ll arrive to get your app order only to be told the syrup you wanted sold out a while ago. The wait times are also insane so expect to be in the drive thru line for 20+ minutes. If I’m going to say something nice, I would say the food has been right each time and they’re generally nice (but that’s a normal Starbucks and customer service...
Read moreLike others have said, this is the SLOWEST Starbucks ever!! Four cars in the drive thru will take half an hour. There seems to be only 2-3 people working there, and they've always been nice, but they need more training. I order the coffee frappuccino, which doesn't come with whipped cream. I specifically ask for no whipped cream, and they still add whipped cream! They don't bother looking at what's written on the cup. The frappuccinos are also extremely icy, so you can't even drink them. This happens almost every time. Also, they don't make drive thru drinks in order. After waiting in the long drive thru line, I'll pull up to the window and see my frappuccino sitting there half melted. (One time, I waited nearly 5 minutes at the window while the cashier dealt with another issue, but my drink was sitting at the window.) Or, I'll see other people's frappuccinos sitting at the window, but wait for them to make mine. Definitely worth the longer drive to use...
Read moreThey are who they are. Hired by aafes or express or whatever affiliation... But these folks do not meet the standard Starbucks qualifications (the ones I've encountered anyways). They are super friendly when it comes to customer service, but execution on basic items... Too much money to mess up peach black tea. Leaves me wanting to take the risk of being late to run off base to another Starbucks. Maybe they get overwhelmed during lunch time but even during down times they still struggle. Also seems they have more people working than other off base sites. So they are lucky, or so it seems. I'm sure there are unknown factors as to why things are the way they are. Also this place helped me cut back on my caffeine intake cause again too many dollars for messed up drinks. I go less and less while at work. They are really nice group of folks. Three...
