Subway — Restaurant in Texas

We order pick up from here once a week. We have always had a wonderful experience with great service. Today was different, when we arrived to pick up our order, it was missing the chips and directions were not followed on the sandwiches. We unfortunately arrived home before noticing the chips were missing. We drove back to the store(sandwiches now cold) and when trying to get the attention of the lady working, she ignored us. Then when I just walked up and started speaking she gave a dead stare and said then grab them, no look at the receipt or even my face. She was so rude We will not return.

6/12/2025 This store has definitely taken a turn for the worst. No hope of it improving. Employees are unfriendly and seem mad they have to work alone, close alone and clean up alone. Lady/kid makes sandwiches entirely behind the counter cooler door while grabbing the food from inside instead of out in the bins in front of you. Dirty, and though they ask what kind of bread you prefer, only white is ever an option. No napkins in the entire store, only paper towels from the bathroom. Windows and doors too filthy to touch, all glass is visibly unclean and hasn't been wiped in a very long time. Chips not out for choosing, just terrible. My family and I came in to grab a quick lunch. The lady behind the counter made our food just as we asked. It was very straight forward. We wanted to grab some drinks while we were there, but their beverage cooler was broke and the drinks inside it were hotter than in the building. So instead, we stopped by the gas station to grab some sodas. We paid for our food and to be honest, I'm a bit confused as to why you are prompted to add a tip at checkout. It's not really a service to be tipped in my opinion. Never the less, I was curious and gave a 15% tip to see if she would notice. I got nothing. Pretty sure it didn't show her the tip and because it's all done electronically I'm fairly certain that it's taxed before (if it ever is) divided amongst the staff. So no if I ever go back here I will not be tipping, and if I feel the urge to it will be cash not through my card. Now aside from all of this my final negative for this place is we got sick. I mean gut wrenching, sitting on the toilet the rest of the day, drinking pepto with a straw sick. It wasn't just one of us having a hard time. No it was my whole family. Today: Last week I gave this restaurant 5 stars, but I need to amend my review.

I went there twice this weekend (For the last 5 months I've been trying to lose weight and control what I eat, so I've gone there quite often).

On the first visit this weekend, they had run out of the chips that my wife wanted, then today they still did not have the chips, and they had also run out of tomatoes. Not only that, the lady in front of me was told that they had run out of the meat that she was requesting. I had already placed my order before I found out about the lack of tomatoes.

Since this was the main veg item that my wife wanted on her sub, I decided to go to Kroger to buy a tomato. While I was driving there I remembered that 2 months ago, there was another instance of "no tomatoes" as well as a few other "no chips" visits.

I think they need to review their ordering and stock quantities as this was not an isolated instance.

The next nearest Subway is 10 miles away on Hwy 105, I may have to go there to see what they are like. Other than this problem, the subs are always made exactly as I...
