Ms. Pat,
It's Dilly Dilly. First and foremost, I want to thank you for inviting me in to your bar family for the past year as a patron to a place that just felt like home when I had no one to go home to. Jaime is one of the hardest working people I've ever see . I love Gina, Shelby, Hannah, Brodie, Sandy, Amanda and I ADORE Alex. These ladies have helped me through some rough patches, without even knowing it. Alex has helped me through some bad times knowing how hard things have been. I love my people there, and feel at home when I walked through the door. I loved hearing so many people yell "Dilly" as I made an entrance. Service has always, mostly, been top notch
That is why this is so hard to say, but, I probably will no longer be welcome at the Cactus Lounge. As you are well aware, your former Thursday night DJ/Karaoke professional/live performer BJ Andrew is a good friend of mine. Tonight was my first karaoke night going in Cactus that he wasn't the DJ, except for when medical reasons prevented him from being there. I have to say, even though I am biased, the experience on 02/06/2020 was my worst Cactus experience since I first walked through the door. I love singing. I eagerly wait for my chance to sing. But after singing "The Whiskey and You", I waited a few minutes before putting in for a second song. I finally settled on "Paint Me a Birmingham" because Lorenzo didn't have "Old Violin", or really much selection at all. I waited to be called for over an hour, while watching 3 guys perform 3 songs each, after I had made my request. Finally, frustrated, I told Brodie to cash me out. I paid my tab, walked to the DJ table and told him he could remove my name from his list. I waited for over an hour, he didn't call, so I was leaving. I walked up to where Mike was sitting and told him, if this was his choice for BJ's replacement, he missed the mark. I explained what occurred, told him I dont think I can come back for karaoke any longer. As I turned to head for the door, Lorenzo walked up, told me he called me for my song 45 minutes earlier and that it was my fault for not hearing him. I turned back to him, and told him he never called me by Dilly or by Andrew. I listen for both each time a singer finishes a song. As I stepped towards the door he rudely yelled, "Yeah, tell BJ I said hello." I walked out at that point wondering how such an oxygen thief replaced someone with a far superior song list and much more...

Crawfish @ 4.50 a pound 3 pounds = 13.50
4 burgers and chicken strips @ 5.75 I’m just gonna say that we got the 1/2pounds because it’s the most expensive. =28.50 Could not find any soda prices so I’m gonna guess 2.75 4 dr. Peppers and one water 11.00 3 bud light at 5 dollars 15$ Ok now I’m gonna add 25 for tax ( but not sure) 10 dollar tip = so grand total $103 But I was charged 140.00$ please explain this.
But because the crawfish had our stomachs hurting we just signed and hurried home because we was sick due to the crawfish. (The crawfish wasn’t cleaned I found 4 snails and and tons of grass and a very fishy smell) we left a ton of dead ones, They were actually DECAYED crayfish on platter, well over a pound and wasn’t even asked if something was wrong) no butter or dipping sauce was on platter when they finally did arrive. (45-1hour)
I also had 3 different groups of friends meet me up there but because they never had a waitress come to their tables (30min) they decided to leave.
I did a review soon after leaving but I decided to delete it, because I was upset and (sick)and not sure on prices. Today makes a week. And I have found out prices on most items. So I’m now going to post my review. In hopes that they will clean the crawfish before serving them and toss the dead ones ( they make the alive ones not only taste bad but can make people sick) they should care about the customers, enough not to serve Decaying crawfish. And to give everyone a heads to double check their bill. Not a honest establishment. Like I said I would have asked for a detailed bill if it was normal circumstances, but I was feeling deathly ill....
Read morePlace was literally empty on a Tuesday night which was expected. Bartender came to us at our table about 15 minutes after we sat down. When we asked about drinks and prices she didn't know any prices of the liquors she "maybe" has!? She asked us for a moment to check the price for a shot of Don Julio and was never to venture out from behind the bar after that. It wasn't like there was anyone else in there she had to tend to..... she was just plain lazy af. Finally was able to order two shots of tequila. It was ridiculously expensive for literally what would be considered to be a splash..... atleast the shots were dressed properly. Trying to mention something positive about this place is almost impossible...... they have interesting landscaping towards the back of the...
