The Better Burger — Restaurant in Texas

Decided to go have dinner, it's been a long time since I've been here, first of all you walk in, nice, but then I step up to place my order as I'm placing it somebody walks in then somebody walks out from the back and she starts taking his order over my head then they step aside and continue which distracts the young lady that's taking my order. He was a Previous employee we soon came to find out. They forgot to add my jalapenos so I let them know and they brought me out some jalapenos, We finished eating our burgers which I thought were better than Whataburger that's my opinion. So we decided to get something for my brother and my mom I placed the order. I asked for a shake I knew they were helping with a drive-thru and had previous orders so I told the young lady to wait on my shake until my order was ready she told me she preferred to make it right there and just put it in the refrigerator I asked her not to do that cause I did not want it to be melted. I received my order then I asked the young lady that gave me the order to make my milkshake as I go to front of the counter I see her pulling it out of the refrigerator and it tilts over and it spills out if I wouldnt have seen this happen she would have just given it to me like that. I asked her that I told the previous young lady that I did not want my shake done until I was ready to leave which they did not listen I opened the lid and quarter of it was gone where it had spilled out. All she offered was I can add more milk and blend it. While this was happening another couple comes in and the young lady that's at the register starts taking their order while I'm standing in front of this couple. (It's a small counter one register) They forgot to add the bacon and the jalapenos to the Burger. It was supposed to be a relaxing dinner, but it just turned out to be a stressful dinner. Burgers were good, my mom said her dinner was good as well, but I wouldn't come here again. With the unprofessional attitude that I got at the register, the yelling that was done over my head as I was trying to give them my order. One star because I can't give it less. I went here almost weekly. Until they treated my wife like garbage, that is. My wife had grabbed the wrong card out of my wallet so when they ran it, it didn't go through. She told them she was coming back to me to get cash. That's when a woman that works there told the girl at the counter to cancel our order "because they always say they're coming back but they never do." My wife made it clear that she was coming back but the woman that said to cancel the order just rolled her eyes at my wife. So when she got home and told me about this, I went back up there. The same woman that was rude to my wife tried to put it off on my wife. They said my wife "freaked out on them". I know FOR A FACT that isn't true. So not only were they rude to my wife for no reason what-so-ever, but they couldn't even get our order right. We asked for extra crispy fries and onion rings. It was all soggy. All I wanted was to show my wife and kids, who are visiting me while I work away from home, a good meal from place I liked. Thanks for ruining that better burger. I'll never...

Hey guys! It's your ol'buddy Chris again. I was looking for something kinda quick and simple,and this place was right next door to one of my favorite places, Country Cafe! And, it turns out, that the same folks that own Ccafe also own Better Burger. So I gave it a shot. On a scale from 1-10, I'd give it a 8.5! The reason being is they cooked the burger meat a little too slow so it's greasier (yup! I made it a word!) and the meat is softer when one does that. The flavor was good, the fries were hot, the tea was good (and y'all KNOW I like my tea stronger!).. but the service was a little too slow given they had enough people working there, is my only other issue. They were a couple of little cuties working there too, sooooo...lol Would I recommend it, yes. Will I eat there again, absolutely! Value per dollar?
