Legacy Bar & Grill — Restaurant in The Villages

This is our second time eating here. There are 5 different dining rooms plus outdoor seating. Folks are friendly and very attentive to your needs.

My wife really likes the prime rib. It is the leanest prime rib I have ever seen. She typically gets 3 meals from the plate.

My tastes run more towards the ocean. My first time was their fish and chips, the best I have ever had. They use haddock and a beer batter. The batter is thin and crunchy. This evening I had the grouper entree. Absolutely wonderful. Grouper is my favorite fish.

Meals are reasonably priced, especially when you consider the amount of food you get. The bread they serve is outstanding and not filling, very light.

Update: Wewent again this evening. We sat at the bar due to bigger crowd. I did not realize we ordered the same things as kast time! Excellent again. Mae was bartender & waitress, and very attentive.

What a fun surprise! We saw an ad for Sunday BOGO burgers. Very happy to find this place. The open air bar overlooking the pool, lots of tvs, fun atmosphere. Logan was a very attentive waiter. I had the patty melt with fries & husband had the classic cheese burger with onion rings. Both burgers were great. The fries were perfect, crispy on the outside & fluffy inside. Had heard great things. Loved the atmosphere. Great music, cozy bar vibe. Great menu and excellent service. We like Fish Fry Fridays and have tried many in and out of the bubble. Good deal BOGO 1/2 off - Fries were 5 star, coleslaw 4 star FISH - SADLY 1 STAR. The batter is more like a breading. Sticks firmly to the fish and hard to even cut. The Fish itself was dry. Cutting it was a challenge and it just tasted BLAH. I LOVE when a fish fry arrives and it's swollen and flakey around the fish and you just use a fork and it breaks apart to juicy fish inside....I will go again and maybe try a burger?? Maybe I will check some...
