What wonderful little gem for Thai food. So happy we got to finally try Khao Soi after speaking with the owners briefly while in the area as they were nearing their soft opening.
My friend and I swung by after work and were delighted by the hand drawn/painted wall art and cute decor. Very aesthetic and paid homage to Thailand.
The staff were friendly and inviting. All smiles and the menu was clean and very easy to navigate. We beat the dinner flood it seemed because it filled up shortly after we sat down.
I had to try the Khao Soi of course. I figured the dish must be the best as they named the restaurant after it and I was definitely pleased. Presentation and flavor hit the mark. Super savory coconut broth and melt in your mouth tender chicken. Loved the crispy wontons. My friend ordered the Drunken Noodles. Great flavors like a charred wok taste. Only thing is the beef was a bit tough.
Besides that the place was super clean. Find a seat, walk up to the counter, order and pay then wait for food to be served.
100% bringing friends and family here. I forsee they restaurant being very busy with possible lines to take a seat in the future.
To the chefs: Y'all are doing a wonderful job. Keep up the great work and great flavors. Best Thai food I've had...
Read moreI only do reviews when places are either excellent or really bad, and this place is absolutely terrific. The food is unbelievable. It's made completely fresh, comes out piping hot, and is totally authentic. I've tried a lot of Thai food, and I can say this is by far the best Thai food in The Woodlands area, if not all of Houston. The Pad Thai is amazing, the red curry is AMAZING, the Khao Soi is also incredible. We plan to try everything. The owner is also so sweet, and works very hard to make such wonderful meals. Highly recommend giving this place a try and supporting this small business (especially while Tamina road has all of this construction, which is probably making things...
Read moreSo this is always been my favorite Thai place outside of Thailand, of all strange places to be they used to be in a gas station. But now they’ve opened their own location. The ambience fits much better with the quality of the food, and the people are wonderful. You cannot go wrong with any of the curries a pad Thai, any of the spring rolls and believe it or not I tried to type tea which I’ve never tried before and it’s...
