Bella's Grill — Restaurant in Thomasville

So I have eaten here at the recommendation of a friend twice now. Thomasville is a bit outside my usual routes, but my visits to Bella's Grill is a great justification to make the drive. You wouldn't know it from the kocation, or the fact that it is situated in an older strip mall, but this place is an unbelievably great place to eat. The man who owns and operates this establishment not only has a passion for cooking, quality, and his customers; he knows how to run a restaurant. I thourouly inspected this establishment and I will tell you, honestly, there are NO roaches, NO rodents, and their food handling processes are square on point. You would be mortified/horrified if you knew how many restaurants 'I cannot' say that about. There are many more accolades I could give to this eatery, but I am limited on time right this moment. I had to say something about this place because it is truly a hidden gem. Can't wait to try more things on their menu. Highly recommended. I took 1 star away from the atmosphere because it is in a quasi not great area of Thomasville. That really can't be helped, but don't let that stop you from giving Bella's a try. One other thing to note is that his prices are almost too good, and I can tell you with confidence that it is not because he has sacrificed the quality of his ingredients, or quantity of expensive ingredients per plate. My husband and I go two to three times a week. Always love the food, service etc. Today we got there around 3ish and it had a close for an hour sign. No specific time. Found the cook had to go pick up his kids at school. Finally he arrived with family in tow. Wife and two kids. Waitress let us in since we were regulars and let us get our drinks while we waited. I just didn’t think it very proper for cooks family to be getting their drinks, going in and out of kitchen door constantly. They got food first. While eleven others of us waited. Kosta and Amy always put customers first, we always enjoyed their handling of the restaurant. I really hope things improve. Family should sit out where customers sit. This is a cool diner, with a tasteful country theme in its decor. They offer a broad menu and came highly recommended by another local business. Our server, Alexis, was exceptional, the place was clean (including the bathrooms) and the manager was very good to us. Our food was pretty good, but not exceptional. My sons chicken tenders were a bit dry, but the fries were very tasty. My keto burger tasted good, but the bacon was both burned and under cooked. Having said that, that’s pretty tough to prepare, exactly the way I like it, so definitely count me among those that will try this place again in the future. Thank you guys, for the amazing service!
