Shark's Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I have been going to this location for years! I called in my order and when I got there they had no clue about my order. So they apologized and proceeded to make my order and Charge me. I then realized that the cook was not wearing a mask at all in the back cooking and talking am back and fourth with the cashier. They refused to give me a refund and I’m calling BBB. They are breaking CDC guidelines and putting everyone in this neighborhood at risk. I truly advise you to think about doing business here. This location, should not be allowed to function in our communities when they are intentionally careless with protecting the business, the customers, and themselves. If it’s required of customers to wear a mask to enter the business, then why were they not wearing masks when cooking over peoples food and preparing meals to go with no mask. When I proceeded to leave, the cook runs and grabs a mask before the new customers walked in. Guess what, they allowed one of those customers to come in and order without a mask. We are not open like Atlanta or Texas, we have safety guidelines to follow during this pandemic... WEAR YOUR MASK and WASH YOUR HANDS! How can you ask the customer to wear a mask but you as a business are not enforcing CDC Guidelines which is...

Ordered a 25 piece meal with fries, lemon pepper fried hard. Got a really small container of fries which I'm not that upset about. What I am upset about is the quality of the chicken you guys served me. I've been ordering from this place for years and I've always been ok with the semi high prices ($50 for 25 wings and a small fry....) due to the quality of the chicken always being nice hot and fresh. Mind you I was 10 mins late picking up an order that was ready in 20. That being said this does NOT look like 10, 15 or 20 min old chicken! It's full of grease and dark. It's soft and mushy, and no lemon pepper on it at all. This chicken is very old and clearly refried to heat up. That's the only way you get mushy chicken that's much darker than fresh cooked chicken. It was clearly made much earlier and sat to the side. Not happy about it at all. Won't be coming back. I know I'm just one person but you guys...

Hi I'm Karen. I just moved to Dalton from Markham glad to see a Sharks up the street from my new house. Figured I'd buy near home be hot when I get home. I was disappointed with my first order here. I asked for soft cooked chicken and got hard cooked chicken couldn't eat it it dry too. Asked for mild sauce she said she put in the bag she said you want extras said sure. When I got home found she hadn't put any sauce in there at first. There was no extra sauce had I not ask about sauce and watched her put it in the bag wouldn't have had any. Bought a cheese cake got nothing to eat it with and a soda. She put cold things in the same bag not good had to separate them when I got in the car. I very disappointed with my order. Going back to Sharks in Markham after work. May or may not be back...
