Lake Avenue Inn — Restaurant in Thornton

The place is great if you $10 over cooked chicken strips and fish and chips that can be found in a box of 10 at Walmart for $2.99. The sign out front advertised prices to significantly lower than they actually are but you won’t find out until you get the check. The bartender said “that sign is a year old” so they probably should have taken it down a year ago. Overall, I left feeling legitimately sick- so I can’t imagine their kitchen is clean or well serviced....

Just had lunch here 5 min ago and everything was great then the bill came we paid cash gave our server 120 on 85$ dollar bill and she brought back $20 dollars we asked were are change was and she told us she tipped herself . Now we planned on giving her 20 anyways but as a bartender myself I would never do that ever lmao 🤣 bad us leave with a bad taste in our mouths . We’re from az so we won’t be back but if we lived here wouldn’t come back...

My little home bar that has 2 pool tables. Outdoor patio area. Great bands on the weekend. Burritos, wings n actually a full menu. What pertubs me...the service for a beer.
