I was influenced, saw this on social media and decided to give it a try and now I’ll try to influence you the google review reader to try this place even if it’s out of your way.
So one thing about CO, and anyone from Cali, NYC, TX, places with good food, etc. is that Colorado doesn’t have a good food scene. Well what I’m slowly learning is the good food isn’t publicly advertised or notorious and is a bit harder to find.
When I came here I wasn’t even sure it was open, I went on a random weekday afternoon and I wasn’t even sure I was at the right place. After seeing someone else go in I decided to check it out and I am glad I did
The jalapeño bacon had just a hint of jalapeño spice, the eggs were perfectly cooked over medium and the tres leches French toast, oh my god it was perfect, not overly sweet, but just the perfect amount of tres leche flavor. I was shocked. Oh and the Chocolate Abuelita ice latte was great, while sweet, it wasn’t TOO sweet (for me a person who likes sweets). Overall, everything was reasonably priced, if I didn’t get the coffee every menu item is between 10-15 in general with a few things even cheaper!
DEFINITELY COME here if you can. The only con is it’s a bit small and something this delicious must be packed on weekends. But besides that, this place is amazing and I’ll be showing friends from out of town that there is in fact…. Decent great food in...
Read more"Fresh, flavorful, and friendly sum up our delightful experience at this authentic gem! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere greeted us, setting the tone for a memorable breakfast. The menu offered a diverse selection to please every palate, and we kicked off our meal with a delightful duo of beverages: a perfectly crafted cappuccino and a rich chocolate abuelita latte, both beautifully presented with a coffee biscuit on the side. Our main dishes were nothing short of spectacular. The ranchero skillet was a masterpiece of textures and flavors, with creamy avocado, a perfectly cooked over-easy egg, zesty ranchero sauce, crisp tortilla, and gooey refried beans creating a harmonious symphony of taste. The Berry Compote French Toast was a delightful fusion of sweet and savory, each bite bursting with flavor. Lastly the Green Chili, featuring tender shredded pork, provided just the right amount of heat to tantalize the taste buds. Every dish was clearly crafted with love and care, using only the freshest ingredients. The attentive and personable service added to the overall exceptional experience. Kudos to the dedicated team behind this family-owned restaurant! We're already counting down the days until our next visit for another...
Read moreI'm not sure how this place has 5 stars. Maybe we just came in on an off day but our experience was pretty terrible.
We waited for someone to seat us and when they did, we were asked for our drink order. Then another lady came over and asked what drinks we wanted. We said the previous lady took the order so she left. Comically, a third lady came over and asked for our drink order. We would later get drinks and a second round was brought to us and taken away.
For food we ordered a steak skillet and Quesabirrias with no onions and a side of toast for the two of us. After a long wait what arrived was the skillet and a Denver omelet somehow. The lady left and didn't come back for a while. When she did she brought the right meal but forgot the toast. When I got into the food, it had onions (which I can't eat).
Really the only plus here was the food tasted ok and the guy running around filling drinks. He stopped by three times in the time it took for them to bring us food.
With outrageously slow service, messing up the order (which they did with a bunch of tables), and clearly a staff that isn't sure which tables are theirs... I don't know how this place does so well. I really...
