McDonald's — Restaurant in Thornton

I've had a mix of experiences at this place... Sometimes the staff are nice, sometimes they're rude. They usually get my order right. Usually they're quick with service....usually.

This next part I emphasize for the store itself: My experience on the evening of 2/5/21 was AWFUL. I hated how myself and the other customers were treated with wait times. There was zero consistency on who's order came out. None of the employees knew what order went to what car. The reserved spots were being over-utilized and it was clear the staff couldn't keep things organized. I waited at least 30 minutes for my order (which still wasn't right, even after the staff re-took it), several other cars waited about that same time, and there were customers who had been waiting less than half our time who were taken care of quicker. Then, why i finally got the jumbled mess of what was close enough to my order, the food was cold. As a customer, I would WAY rather wait in a single line that takes longer than to be asked to pull aside and be forgotten about. After the week I've had, all I wanted was to easily go through a drive thru, get some food to cheer me up, and go home. Instead I felt like an afterthought, that my order wasn't a priority, and became so stressed by the end I was brought to tears. I appreciate the thought behind a "free ice cream cone" from the manager, but that's a small consolation for the lack of consideratiom for our orders. I would have preferred the manager come to me personally, apologize, and give me a few options. Hopefully stores (especially this one) learn from this and make the necessary improvements. I went through the drive through 01/03/23 and got some breakfast for myself as a treat- the women behind the register was excellent efficient and respectful. I pulled up to the second window and apparently the order was lost within the system- no problem! I take pride in being respectful and kind to everyone especially people in the food service industry. I know first hand the difficulty that comes with the job. However upon being given the wrong order and giving it back and relaying the proper order to this women she promptly laughed in my face and turned to her coworker announcing, “Está loca!” To them. I by no means am fluent in the Spanish language but I'm well aware that is means, “she’s crazy!” They all had a good laugh at my expense making me feel bullied and extraordinarily foolish for spending my money in this establishment. I didn't realize that asking for my correct order was a joke? I am curious how it could be received as such and where the culture of laughing at your drive through guests would be encouraged this way? I am completely floored at the service I received today. Called for a prompt resolution and got dismissed. Perhaps having a round table of empathy and genuine professionalism would be in need for this team for the sake of your new customers as I will not be a...

I never write reviews but wow were these people rude and the way they treated me and “THEIR” mistake was ridiculous.

I went through drive through and ordered a sausage burrito and a sausage and cheese biscuit a coke and an apple juice. The lady barely let me finish saying each item before she would say “what else” and I had to repeat the sausage burrito because she was not really listening. When I got my food they gave me a sausage and egg with no cheese on it so I pulled back to drive-through told her that I had asked for a sausage and cheese biscuit and she said that I did not order that and I had said a sausage and egg biscuit which is wrong because I don’t eat eggs so I would’ve never said that. They told me that I had to pay extra for the cheese, which is fine, that’s what I ordered, but the fact that they kept telling me that I was wrong and it seemed like they had no intention of fixing it until I admitted that I was wrong.
