I recently had the pleasure of visiting Summer Moon Coffee for the first time, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was met with a warm welcome and genuine smiles from the friendly employees. Their helpfulness and attentiveness made my first visit a breeze, as they patiently guided me through the menu and offered personalized recommendations.

I was confused! All the drinks are named by the amount of sugar and milk are in them, not flavor. So This is a straight up coffee shop, not like a Specialty Coffee shop (like Starbucks). The cashier said it takes abut four times to understand the menu... and that is correct I had no idea what I was ordering which was a bummer and finally after looking at the menu for several minutes I just said... "Do you have anything like a Pumpkin Spice latte." Again, they have no flavors on the menu just half moon, full moon etc and it just tells you the sugar and sweet milk they use... It was not clear at all, Big fail on the marketing department for sure if you are there for the first time. Also, The name is summer moon but al lot of items had a camp fire on it and you would think it would be a Moon, its cute but super confused by this Coffee Shop. Okay and finally the taste! The "Pumpkin Spice, full moon, half moon, over the moon I ordered was meh... not amazing, barley could taste the pumpkin... again I don't' think this is a specialty coffee shop. If I was rating it as good Coffee its good, but then again I could just to McDonalds for regulars coffee kind of thing. This place is more like you are ordering straight coffee and you choose the amount of cream and sugar goes in and the names are based off that ( I believe that's how the menu read, again confusing). I also ordered the blueberry scone which was dry and the chocolate croissant was rubbery because they put it in the microwave too long. Would I go back? Stopped into this coffee shop while I was out on the area since I like to try new coffee shops where ever I go. Going there was super intimidating cause I had no idea what I should order. It’s a little different than the norm. The barista who I will name ‘23’ (bc I never asked her name) helped me out so so much!! And super sweet!! She made a few suggestions. We settled on a drink. It was a little too strong so she added a bit more moon milk to it. But it wasn’t hitting the spot necessarily. She was persistent and awesome at trying to find a drink that was going to work for me. Two drinks later we go it. She didn’t want me to leave with a cup of joe I didn’t like!! She was great!!
