Nestled between the Santa Monica Mountains to the south and Conejo Mountains to the north, is the quiet, pleasant town of Newbury Park, home to an amazing coffeehouse located in the shopping plaza called The Village.

I had never been here before and it took me a couple tries to find the coffeehouse but now that I know where it is I won’t have a hard time finding it!

I've lived close to Honey Cup for two years now, and unfortunately, their service is consistently inconsistent. It’s a small place with almost no staff, and the few who are there always seem stressed, especially during the school rush. I genuinely feel bad for them because they are clearly overwhelmed. Sadly, the issues go beyond the rush; they often run out of ingredients on a daily basis, which can be frustrating for regular customers. We discovered this gem in a beautiful center after our baseball game nearby. The food and pastries are like you are in France or Italy. They serve Lavazzo coffee and the food and pastries are all high end but so reasonable. The chef came to our table to greet us and was so kind and the place is busy. He imports his butter from France, his sourdough bread takes 48 hours to make. This is fresh food. It’s so refreshing to eat items that are made from scratch with love and care.
