Our group was kicked out because we had a certified service dog with us (not emotional support). We sat on the patio to be respectful of other clients with the dog who was wearing his service vest and they still told us we needed to leave and canceled our drink orders. We offered to show the official service animal paperwork but the staff refused to even look and insisted we leave. I fully understand this place is a dive bar, and I enjoy the dive bar atmosphere. However I find it unacceptable for a place of business to refuse a service animal. Even if a business was to refuse a service animal I would hope it would be done with a little more respect and empathy. However the new owner's "handsy" husband seems to run roughshod over the bar, frequently drunk, in there all the time, he helps himself to the walk-in, and the last time I was there, the last time I will ever eat their food, was the time I witnessed him reach into the "kitchen" and with his unwashed, handsy, hands, he ate fries right from fryer while a customer's order was draining. Read moreFood was fair priced and delicious. I am older and cannot sit on a stool with no back but luckily they have a small table with two chairs my daughter and I sat there and ate our lunch. The woman that waited on us was fantastic went out of her way to make us happy. The chef that Cooked our lunch brought it to our table and it was Simply Delicious. Would go there again in a minute. We saw the regulars coming in closer to the evening and we're all having a fantastic time....
