Nomad Kitchen — Restaurant in Tieton

I stumbled on this little Gem on Saturday. Actually the entire visit to this sleepy little town of Tieton was magical. As was the Strawberries and Crème, perched on a very delectable slice of lemon pound cake. Now, I know what you are thinking...How easy is that? Well there is good, and then there is great. And then there is "Over The Moon" fricking fantastic. That is what this was. The Strawberries were picked fresh that day, small and sweet, the whipping cream was not over whipped and had vanilla bean in it, and that Lemon pound cake with the Turmeric and caramelized lemons on top was just about all I could manage in one day, not to leave me swooning. I came in grubby, not well dressed, no make up, camping at Elkridge Campground for a weekend. But I know a great place to eat, have traveled extensively, written reviews for years, and this was divine. My destination place to eat on the East side on any Saturday in the future. You simply won't find a more enjoyable place to spend an evening. From the truly impeccable staff and unique space the restaurant inhabits to the thoughtful plates and drinks they serve, Nomad fires on all cylinders. The team that makes up Nomad couldn't be better, front and back of house staff work in tandem to make sure the entire room is taken care of, no one ever seems stressed or in the weeds and they will stop and school you up on a certain dish or a wine you had a question about. And the FOOD is out of this world. The menu is never the same whenever you go back, constantly rotating with what is in season, and being located in Tieton, it's a stones throw from amazing produce. We are so fortunate to have a restaurant like Nomad Kitchen in our area. Its mission to bring delicious whole foods to the table means that an incredible amount of planning, work and expertise goes into creating this wonderful result and Nomad's team of wonderful people are up to the task! Then add an amazing atmosphere, world class service and community naturally happens, which for me personally makes the entire experience even more enjoyable. One thing that always stands out to me is that the Nomad suppliers are recognized by name on the menu which is the only way that the owner would have it.
