Subway — Restaurant in Tiffin

My car started acting up yesterday so I pulled into Subway to alert my husband. Serena and Rachael came out right away to check on us. They encouraged my kids to go inside where they provided them with pop and cookies. Serena took it upon herself to check my oil which was super sweet. I was so impressed by their natural instinct to help and show us kindness. They mentioned that my alternator might be out. My alternator's currently getting replaced so great job on your diagnosis and for your customer service. These girls deserve all of the praise. I'm a car girl myself so having them step up and be so attentive was impressive. If you're in the area, stop by the Subway in Tiffin, IA. They have some amazing folks that work there....

Terrible experience. We ordered ahead a $64 order and planned a 12:30 pick up. Card was charged and we got there just after noon and the place was dark and locked. There were other people standing outside who had also ordered from them wanting to pick up their food. We went next door to Kum and Go and they were very sympathetic and tried their best to reach the Subway management. It was clear this happens often. Neither the manager nor the owner called back the 35 minutes we waited along with multiple other customers. Never got our order and eventually left. I was on my way back from Des Moines to Iowa city. My bus of soldiers stopped to get gas here at the Kum and go/subway. Being up since 5 without eating and not really wanting gas station food I decided to go into the subway on the other side of the building. When I went inside I was waiting for a solid 10 minutes without anyone behind the counter then had to leave because my bus was about to leave and I didn't want to get left behind.
