The Deli at Frost Village — Restaurant in Tiffin

Okay. So I knew this place was good. The first time I got something from here, they messed up my sandwhich order but after contacting the Facebook page I spoke with the owner and he was so kind and personable. And after eating the sandwich (with things on it I didn't even like) the sandwich was STILL very good!! So we ordered from their breakfast menu today and OH MY!!!!! I got the breakfast bowl with over easy eggs and colby jack cheese and it was so flavorful and satisfying. My fiance got the breakfast wrap with bacon. The bacon was thick cut and smoky and cooked to perfection. And the sauce on it is just soo perfect!! The best of the best though, was the waffles!!! I know I'm being dramatic but they legitimately almost brought a tear to my eye. They have crystallized sugar pieces in every bite. I got blueberry waffles and it came with , what I imagined, must have been homemade whipped cream and pure maple syrup. You could even taste the vanilla in the waffles. They were by far the most amazing waffles I have ever had. EVER. I can't recommend this...

We placed the order for our food at 11:20 a.m. We got the notification that the food was ready at 11:50 a.m. When we arrived the food was not ready nor had they even started making it. The food did not start being made till after 1 p.m. We then got the notification saying the order was completed as the food was starting to be made. We finally got the food at 1:30 p.m. I got French toast and they placed the whipped cream on top of the hot French toast so by the time we got back to our place (a 6 minute drive), the whipped cream was completed melted. The food overall was good but that does not make up for waiting over an hour and a half. We also tried to talk to the employees and could not get a response. Third visit here. Great food! ☺️ had Tuna melt. Chicken noodle soup. Only disappointment was the cashier, girl that I placed order with. No one wears name tags, otherwise I’d know who it was. She felt “rushed” I guess is the word. Not very friendly at all. Which is unusual with any of the other staff here. I felt as tho I was a “bother” to her….she kept yawning LOL I sat at a table, waiting for my food. Eventually It was delivered to me, in paper bags. Ugh! I did NOT want my food TO GO. So the fella that brought my food was kind enough to take it in the back, and “plate it” which only gave it more time for my hot sandwich to get cold. Ugh. And forgot my pickle too. Ugh.
