Fort Ball Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Tiffin

Went to pizza palace on 2/15/2020 around lunch time with my family of 7. It wasnt to busy. There was another decent size family and i think a birthday party. Was seated quickly and our drink orders were put in. At first go things were good but they started to get busier with less and less pizza. NOTHING was coming out. I had one slice of pizza and some alfredo noodles that was just hard and old. How can this be a buffet if there was hardly any pizza. My youngest daughter is very picky and wanted cheese pizza and not once was there any put out. She did love the spaghetti though. When we attempted to go back up a 2nd time did manage to get another slice of pepperoni pizza so i thought. Underneath was like one onion and one piece of salami not 100 percent sure if it was made that way or was an accident but what if someone was allergic you couldnt tell unless you pulled up the cheese. There was also hair in that piece and several items my children had got they also complained of hair. Also the waitress was kind but lacked services as several of us was waiting for refills of drinks. When it was time to pay the girl who was ringing us out was a little rude and she said the total was almost $60.00 and i told her that it wasnt worth it. Then she decided to ask the children's ages and it knocked it down to 48.00. We are not from Tiffin and this was our familys first and LAST time being there. Its not worth it. Food was good, though scarce on the buffet. It may have been because it was later in the day, around 2 hours from closing down the buffet. We asked if they would put a pickle pizza on the buffet and our waitress told us that they would. We finished eating what was available on the buffet, and waited for about 20 minutes. I asked our waitress if they would be bringing it out and she said that she would go back and ask. She never came back. Then another waitress walked by about about 15 minutes later, she asked us if everything was alright, and we asked about the pizza again. She said she would go back and ask. We waited about 5 minutes and she never came back. So we went to check out. The 2nd waitress was cashing us out and told us that the pizza was never put in.

The reason for the 2 stars, is not because they never brought the pizza out. It is because instead of the first waitress coming back and telling us they weren't going to make it, she had us sit and waste about 40 minutes of our kid free night. I understand that things can get busy, and things can get overlooked, but someone should have told us it was not coming out so we could go ahead and leave.

Absolutely horrible! Went there on a Saturday evening, 7/14/18, at 7pm with a group of 8. We stood at the door waiting while the hostess/waitress acted like we were an inconvenience for being a larger group. She asked us twice if we wanted to break up and sit at two different tables across the dining room from each other, and after repeatedly telling her no, she proceeded to yell across the dining room to another waitress working the buffet, her manager apparently, to ask if she should seat us in the back room. The girl working the buffet acted like we were putting her out and told her yes, and that she would be back there whenever she could get time. While this whole fiasco was going on a woman from a table of 6 walked past to go to the buffet and sympathetically told us they went through the same treatment! The worst part; this is the second time this has happened! We decided to leave and went to buffalo wild wings. We will never go back or order pizza from there again. There are far too many places to eat that are far better. Save your money and time; go somewhere that is going to take...
