I still can’t believe the way my husband and I were treated here today. Food was ordered. Owner at the counter seemed a little ornery but we can ignore that because it’s hot, it’s summer time and busy. Our number was called so my husband went inside to pick up the order because he saw our food on the counter inside. Owner told my husband to go back outside to pick it up and then the owner walked away. Owner never said to my husband to wait a bit so he could grab the condiments we needed. He assumed everything was on the tray. So he innocently opened the screen window and took our food. I look at what my husband brought back to the picnic table and there were no condiments, napkins and I needed a spoon. I thought maybe the owner had forgotten. Again. Not a big deal. BUT… before I can even speak, the owner starts to chastise me, berate me and throws a paper bag of condiments and plastic utensils on the counter. I think this whole situation wouldn’t have happened if the owner was better able to communicate with his customers. Regardless, we will never come back to this business ever again. And frankly, the food wasn’t even worth the way we were treated. What a...
Read moreThe service here is appalling and the owner is rude! I don't know how the food is, because my husband and I left before we could even order. The older man at the counter, whom I assume is the owner, was extremely rude to the two customers ahead of us. He was extremely slow because he kept playing on his cellphone (even started showing a man at the pick up window pictures on his phone). When it was our turn, he never acknowledged our presence or said anything, but kept his back to us. After standing there for 20 minutes, we left, but mainly because we realized he never used hand sanitizer the entire time he was handling multiple orders, and his face mask was around his chin only. I'm really glad I didn't spend the $60 we were planning to on over priced seafood to support this man's business. I live local and would have come back many times if it was good food and...
Read moreIf you’re ever wandering around the Lakes Region and your lobster radar starts pinging, do yourself a favor: detour to Lobster Connection in Tilton. My wife and I hit this joint recently and headed onwards full, happy, and already scheming our next visit.
Both of us ordered lobster rolls, and wow—these were not your run-of-the-mill rolls. Big chunks of sweet lobster, a bun that held up without turning into mush, and enough “lobstery goodness” that each bite made us grin.
Lobster Connection delivers: great lobster rolls, excellent coleslaw, a friendly atmosphere, and enough charm to make the splurge feel worth it. If you like lobster, you’ll be very happy. If I could suggest anything? Go there hungry, maybe with expectations set for a laid-back yet delicious meal rather than...
