Kiwi’s Diner — Restaurant in Tionesta

We hesitated, for years, to stop here. The saying "don't judge a book by its cover" is absolutely true!! We stopped and had breakfast, IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Inside restaurant, was very roomy, nicely decorated and very clean! The service was very friendly and top notch service!! The food was large portioned and was absolutely deliciius!! If I could give this place a higher rating, I would!! I highly recommend Kiwis and we will go back for more!! GREAT JOB KIWIS!!!

3rd visit review: Not as great as first two! Stopped for breakfast. It was a beautiful day and we wanted to sit outside. When we asked the waitress, she was annoyed, immediately, and told us we would have to be patient because if we sat outside, it would take longer for her to get to us and to receive our food. Staff was friendly, but food was terrible. First my eggs i ordered over medium came out brown burnt and rubbery, the yolks were chalk, definitely not over medium eggs, they kindly remade them, only for the second ones to come out brown burnt rubbery whites and the middle semi-dippy enough to dip some toast into but couldnt eat them at all they way they were. Then the bacon was floppy thick fatty and had a weird smokey taste that i really did not care for. The home fries were almost all the way edible except the super hard crunchy burnt ones. This is truly a family diner,friendly faces ! Lots of locals and visitors! This is where you'll find my husband on a weekend if hes lucky enough to have a day off! My son swears by the food and wouldnt go anywhere else! They have my son spoiled ,as soon as he walks in the door Ed Mike and kiwi Dharon start his breakfast, bc he pretty much ordered the same thing,which may be everything on the breakfast menu !
