The pizza here is such a disappointment. Prime location in Tipp on Main Street and a fun concept, but the pizza is SO bad. Make the better decision for pizza and order from Red Devil Pizza and Deli. Go to Tipp City Pizza for the duckpin bowling and fun atmosphere.

To the owner who replied, I graduated from Tipp so am happy to see you’re employing local students. My second time at the restaurant, I came on Sept 14, 2024 with my sister, for takeout. My comment was whoever was working that day at the bar was nothing special. We took the pizza across the street, it was Tipp homecoming and we ended up throwing away most of the pizza bc it was so bad.

In fact, we tried to order from Red Devil Pizza (formerly DJs) but since you’re heavily sponsored on Google seo, we accidentally ordered from you instead after typing in “Red Devil Pizza”. Since this frustrated me, I updated the Google info for Red Devil pizza after ordering yesterday.

I am not affiliated with Red Devil pizza and am happy to give Tipp City pizza a third chance. As a member of the community, we want to see this restaurant do well but the pizza is not up to par with your neighbors. I’m flagging this bc I want you to do something about it. Like make better pizza.

I edited my original review bc I never intended to sabotage a local business. And I felt I needed to clarify after your unprofessional response. You personally need to work on your customer service appearance online. Try “We are always working to improve” instead of being so defensive on a Google review.

We have talked with neighbors and friends who all agree Tipp City Pizza needs improvement in the actual pizza. So I finally felt prompted to write a review. I thought my experience was n=1 which didn’t warrant coming back in to complain/posting on Google. I didn’t want to put my experience out there bc it sucked. Hope this helps clarify why it took me a month to write the review.

And finally Charlie Carroll I’m a little creeped out to see I’ve peaked your interest enough to find me on LinkedIn. This is borderline harassment and I’m simply an avid...

Update - we went back after I spoke with the manager Tasha and we did get a chance to try the food again; our pizza was awesome and we really appreciate the effort they took to make it up to us. Thank you Tasha.

Our first time here was in September, we stopped by for lunch after the Mum festival, we had the pepper pots pizza and mango beer, both were fantastic and service was amazing. We went back this week but we were disappointed and I do not think we will be returning. The veggie pizza was underwhelming at best, mostly onions and looked like it was thrown together in a rush (restaurant was not busy when we ordered so I don’t see a reason why 1/3 of our pizza did not have toppings and the majority of our toppings were onion) I requested the feta cheese be swapped out for mushrooms however I was told “we don’t do substitutions here, you’ll have to pay$2 for the mushrooms.” When I said we were allowed to make a substitution last time and swap bacon for mushrooms since I am vegetarian, I was told “your server was just being nice to you, we do not do substitutions.” It was very underwhelming to hear they cannot do substitutions because I am vegetarian, so if I cannot swap out the meat on pizza for veggies, I am essentially paying $17 for a cheese pizza and for the quantity and quality of food, that just doesn’t make sense to me. The pizza was soggy and the base was not cooked very well. I still loved the pepper pots pizza back in September but unless they are able to offer substitutions for meat or more veggie options, I will not...

The only reason I am giving a 2 rating is because the pizza is pretty good. I called to order a carry out, I was traveling north on 75 and was at the Vandalia exit attempted to order a pizza, three ingredients. The girl on the phone said they only had five pre-selected pizzas available. I asked if they were pre-made because they could not custom make a pizza as I wished, she snipped "No" they are freshly made, wasn't going to fight that battle. I arrived at the location, a little more than half of the place was fully constructed. No big deal, I told the two girls standing at the counter just inside the door that I was there for a carry out and they said they would check on it, (not asking my name). I sat there for a number of minutes and finally asked them "was it ready" the one girl said, you pick up carry outs at the bar. What would have been the problem telling me that in the first place! Just prior I noticed a woman bringing to the bar a couple of pizzas. I asked the bartender if I would pick up at the bar and she confirmed. I paid the $15.50 for a rather small 12 inch pepperoni pizza and was on the short journey to my house. Upon arriving home I opened the box and the pizza was cold or just barley warm, barley! I get pizza from Marion's and others further away and is steaming hot when I get them home. I assume the pizza sat in the back for a bit before being brought up front! I sure hope this place gets better, it sure is needed! Aside from all that, the pizza was good after...

Just OK pizza - nothing here for me to want to return to. I love pizza and love trying all the best pizza places across the USA. Tip City isn't the worst but isn't the best either---just Ok. I was not impressed by the price for 2 Cokes and 1 pizza at $27 OUCH. That is definitely high for the overall size, and overall quality. Another Ohio pizza let down that so many brag about....These folks in Ohio need to travel more and eat more pizza. Start your trip by a weekend in NYC or even Chicago. You'll find out how many great pizza places are all over. This isn't a place I would want to return to. I also won't recommend it to my friends, family or followers.

Casual, family friendly, and open atmosphere with Pizza, drinks, and Bowling. The bowling is like a hybrid of ski ball and traditional bowling, so it takes up less space and produces less noise. The atmosphere is definitely more restaurant than bowling alley. The service was great, and the drinks inexpensive. The pizza was fantastic, with quality toppings and a perfect thin crust. Definitely top tier in the greater Dayton pizza market. Don't be afraid of the hot honey, Im usually not a fan of it on pepperoni, but the balance was perfect. Clearly a lot of time and effort went into crafting these recipes and their execution.

Easy place to find. Street parking can be found with easy. Very clean restaurant, with nice and helpful staff. Very simple and small menu. You have to get your plates, napkins, drinks, and silverware yourself, which isn't a big deal. They have a full bar with staff. They all so have a small (2 lanes) "bowling", type of game located inside. It wasn't busy when we stopped by for a late lunch on Saturday, but due to its location and atmosphere I can see it getting busy. The pizza came out fast and hot! Very good pizza why better than the nearby chain restaurants.
